I would not recommend doing business with Aqua Tech…read more Reason: I received a bill for repairs that Aqua Tech did not perform. The only thing they did was come out to give an estimate of what it would cost to repair the said hot tub. There was no mention via the phone, email or their website about a $130 estimate/trip charge. The tech did not perform any service except to write down what I told him I thought was wrong with it. He was here less than 5 minutes and left without leaving an estimate. That was on 8/14/2024. Three weeks later, 9/4/2024, I received an estimate, but we had already repaired the hot tub. We had thought since they did not get back to us in a timely matter, they were not interested in doing the repairs. I told them at that time that we would not be using their service since the repairs were already complete. Again, there was no mention of any trip estimate charge or bill sent to me. On 10/14/2024 I received an email from Aqua Tech requesting that I pay $130 for hot tub services on a bill that was 3 months past due. This is the first time I received any correspondence from them since 9/4. I called them to find out what the $130 was for and was told that it was a trip charge for the estimate. Again, I was never told about the estimate charge, and it does not mention anything about a trip charge on their website, aquatechutah.com. I told them I was not responsible for it and to produce any document signed by me agreeing to the charge. She said it would be taken care of then hung up on me. This was on 10/15/2024. On Friday, 10/18/24 I received a letter from a collections agency requesting the $130 and threatened to report if not paid. Now I'm dealing with a collections agency.

Inconsiderate Fraudster…read more UPDATE: I ended up suing him and getting my money back in April 2022 (Sandy small claims court). I made him answer to his deceitful practices. Claims he's closing down the business. We shall see. Original Review: I sure wish I read all the reviews before moving forward with this character! Garry Wright "fixed" my hot tub - slow as molasses (charging $100 per hour, one hour of which was sitting in my kitchen drinking hot chocolate with me as the hot tub drained) and provided a written 1 year warranty on parts and labor. When the heating element he installed went bad he made an initial assessment then told me he'd order the part and fix it under the terms of the warranty - leaving my hot tub disassembled. It's been 3 weeks of him avoiding my calls and not allowing voicemails. I even went to his residence in Sandy and left a note on his porch...still, no communication whatsoever. Disgusting. He mentioned he was trying to sell his business. Not sure what he'd be selling other than a horrible reputation. What a disappointment!

I have never met a person that is so knowledgeable in their field. I recently bought a home with a pool. A large pool service company in the area did the servicing of the pool for the past 10 years. They had it so screwed up it hardly worked. Gary came in and at a reasonable price, fixed the years of neglect and made everything work great again. Plus he took the time to explain to me how to maintain a pool so I wouldn't have to pay those extreme high prices for a pool maintenance company. I can't make a higher recommendation for a company. Again, Gary is the best!

We went to Backyards of America with no intention of purchasing a spa. We had been dealing with another company and were in the process of purchasing a spa and Covana. We were somewhat frustrated with the lack of communication and honesty of the salesman at this other company. We decided to check into the Covana elsewhere and we were led to Backyards of america. I originally talked with Ray via chat and told him we already had a spa, but were looking for the Covana. We decided to stop into the showroom and take a look at the covana. We walked in the door and were met with friendly faces. The staff went above and beyond to help us. After directing us to Ray, one of the guys that was working on one of the spas took the time to get a couple of chairs and put a movie on for my two young girls that were with us. We were immediately impressed. After talking with Ray for a bit about the Covana, we were very impressed with his honesty and just had an overall good feeling about this company. We asked Ray some questions about the Sundance spas and again were impressed with his honesty and professionalism. Not once did he bad mouth his competitors! He went over the pros and cons of different spas and we were convinced that this was the way to go. We walked in on the Tuesday following Christmas, and Thursday morning our new spa was delivered and set up. The installation crew was very accommodating and went above and beyond to educate us about our new spa and make sure we were comfortable with everything before they left. We have enjoyed our new spa almost every night since. If you want an amazing spa that comes with excellent customer service, Ray and his crew is who you want to see!!! read more

I normally dont write reviews for anything but I feel that others could benfit from what I experienced. First of all, I have been to many different pool and spa stores and all were decent but these guys are the best! I bought a home that already had a spa, it was an old arctic i think, and I needed to learn how to do the chemicals. I went to Backyards of America because I had a friend refer me. From the minute I walked into their store I felt comfortable and at ease. I talked to one of the employees and he walked me through the entire process for spa chemistry. He answered all of my questions! I followed what they reccomended and it works! No chemical smells and crystal clear water! I was so impressed that when my wife and I decided to buy a new spa we went to them first! Once we learned about all the features we knew we wanted one! They took out the old spa and installed the new one the very next day! They did an entire orientation and again answered our questions! We recommend them to anyone looking for the best spas and great service! read more

These guys did a wonderful job helping me select the hot tub that met our needs. They did an excellent job delivering the tub and walking us through the steps on how to operate and properly take care of the hot tub with chemicals. If you never had owned a hot tub before, the thought of getting the right mixtures of chemicals into the tub sounds intimidating. However, the Youtube video on the website is very helpful. It would have been helpful if buyers would be given a one page cheat sheet that can be quickly referred to ease the hot tub rookies like myself. We have had the Edison hot tub for about two weeks, in it just about everyday and love it! The size and simplicity of this model are perfect. The center jets are wonderful for the feet and love that you can adjust the intensity of any of the jets by a simple twist. Our kids (2-8yrs old) also love joining us soaking in the tub. Of course I was looking for a great deal on a great spa and I found it. I am very happy with the Sundance Optima spa I bought from Ray at Backyards of America. That is only half of the story. Ray and all his great employees helped my wife and I find the perfect hot tub for us. To me having a great store to back your purchase is almost as important as the product it self. Some times when you buy a high ticket item you might get a little buyers remorse. I had zero second thoughts. I walked out of Backyards of America with there biggest smile on my face because of how professional they were. I will be recommending this store to all my friends and to any one looking for a great hot tub. 6 stars read more

They just delivered our spa today and we can' be happier. I am demanding and a bit of a perfectionist (so my wife says). We have a house with a top story covered deck with a very limited configuration for a spa. Ray and his team worked with us for a couple of weeks trying to come up with the perfect spa for us that would work and be in out budget. Honest, friendly and with no pressure to buy, unlike another showroom we visited. Derrick and his crew who delivered it were very friendly and professional and were able to find a safe, easy and affordable way to get the spa up on the deck. We have been shopping around for a hot tub for a while, but were hesitant since it seemed like most companies just wanted to sell you a hot tub and move on to the next customer. Backyards of America was different - Cynthia and Ray were very knowledgeable and were able to explain every feature in detail of the Sundance Spas Aspen hot tub that we were interested in. My wife and I loved the comfortable, no-pressure, atmosphere - and the fact that they were very professional. They helped us pick out a hot tub, helped us with some great suggestions regarding where to put it in the yard, helped us get started on the chemicals (it's our first hot tub), and everything else. They delivered it and set it up for us. They also showed us how to use the spa. Couldn't be happier! Shelby was especially helpful!! I introduced myself and briefly detailed what my call was about, they responded by saying: "I've talked to 500 people this weekend , I don't know what you're talking about." In the rudest manner and a snarky tone as if I was to bow down and kiss his spa repairing feet and hands. I clarified that we'd been emailing over the weekend and that I wanted to get a technician booked to asses and execute a repair. Again, he had some smart ass response. This is all you need to know about this companies customer service.

So we special ordered the tub. Que the nightmare...when it came it wasn't even the right manufacturer, that could have been dealt with but the shape was wrong too. When we called they said that was the tub we ordered so there was nothing they could do for us. We had called the manufacture for the tub to check dimensions and they directed us to Tubzz. We knew what we were ordering. Obviously there was a mix up somewhere which is beyond our comprehension. That said, it happens, the sad thing is they stuck us with it adding they would be willing to give us a small discount on the replacement tub we now needed. We were rather put-off that they seemed more interested in selling us, yet another tub, than figuring out a solution with us. We spent 1,000s more than expected re-working the bathroom in order to make our Tubzz tub work. The whole experience left a very sour taste in our mouth in regards to how we were treated once there was a problem. They'll definitely be eager to get your order, just hope you don't encounter any problems along the way.

I ordered a custom made jetted tub with all the bells and whistles that my wife and I saw fit for our new home. What impressed us the most with Tubzz was how quick the tub was delivered after we placed our order. Even our plumber was very impressed with how quickly our tub arrived. The tub was delivered and set in place by the delivery team at Tubzz, which made it very easy for our plumber to finish the job. My tub was manufactured on site at their warehouse and is truly American Made. If my wife and I ever build again or remodel our bathroom, I will work with Tubzz in the future.

Along with closing and opening my pool - they replaced a faulty water pump and gave me all the information required to keep it running smoothly. No issues since. They also helped me setup an efficient schedule on the controller\app and showed me how to effectively keep my pool clean. I had a wedding reception in my backyard and the pool was a key part of the plan but the pool heater wasn't working. Joe committed, with very short notice, to get the pool functional. Instead of a simple part replacement the entire heating unit needed replaced. Under most circumstances I would have been told that it was impossible to pull off this service miracle in two days. Not with Joe and his team. Joe kept his word which meant that he and his team elected to work late into the night to ensure that I had a fully functioning, heated pool for the wedding reception. It ended up being a fabulous event where the children enjoyed themselves by swimming and the parents enjoyed themselves too. What a blessing Joe and team were to my family. I highly recommend Aqua Solutions Pool and Spa for all your pool needs
