Everytime I take my children to play here they get sick from something or another. Machines should be wiped down along with equipment.

I really love taking my boys to Badger Sports Park. The only problem is we cant go very often because you need a small loan to spend any length of time there. Today with the help of a Groupon, the kids were able to do more than they are normally allowed to do. They bowled, had a few turns on the laser maze and jumped in the inflatables. The laser maze and bowling get zero complaints from me. However, The inflatables gets 1 star- the inflatables themselves are great, but... The absolutely ridiculous turf, they stupidly put down in a children's play area.... I cant even! There are these black pellets all over the place "for your comfort and safety" Let me tell you my child's bloody murder screams from the pellet in his eye, that refused to come out, and the over 15 minutes he spent crying in pain on the bathroom floor, to his now probably scratched cornea... safety and comfort are not exactly the words that crossed my mind. There were a lot of swear words that did, however. This definitely ruined my son's fun. I really do not understand the point of this material being added. It is definitely not safe. I will not be back (for the inflatables) for this reason specifically. I would also recommend parents go to other inflatable entertainment facilities we have in the area. Everything here is pretty costly. As a parent I cant afford to bring my kids here often. But they do have fun when they go. Where the nephews want to go, is where we go! This Thursday it was to the Badger Sports Park in Appleton, meaning a 30 minute drive for us. I've read that we spend 5 hr. and 35 mins. each month in line, so after eschewing these results with our obnoxious wait, thanks to the ridiculous group of five 20-year olds who weren't bright enough to look at the large wall-plastered menu to figure out what they were going to do and instead waited until they got up to the counter, we decided to do a quick run of the go karts and some video games. For anyone new to this place, forget the line and use the machines located throughout to buy a card and put $ on it. You use the card throughout the complex, which is easier than paying per turn, but if you've got more than 1 kid with you, get 1 card per child, or else you're stuck (like me) running around trying to slide the card for every game each one plays! If you can get over the bad-attitude of some of the workers (not ALL) and go for the sake of the kids you're with, live vicariously through them and enjoy the games. read more

Been here for birthday parties and it's good for kids. Today came to the batting cages with my son and they offered an unlimited batting for $5. It was great. Come inside to let my little guy enjoy a little action and we loaded a card. This is where my experience went totally south. Every machine we used it on we got this card read error. Took the card to the front desk and the young lady working said "it's not the card, some of our readers are touchy." She came back and got it to work on about her 5th swipe. After that I tried another $0.35 game that my little guy liked....17 swipes (see video). Fast, slow, forward, backward..... nothing worked. Told them again and they just looked at me like I am a moron. If you come here for a birthday party it's cool, because it's someone else's money spent on this stuff. If you're here on your own dime it is not good. Especially when you're having issues and the high school kids working the desk just make you feel like a moron. Won't come back to this place for the inside features.... unless it's for some kids birthday party. There are better places such as sky zone to spend money for indoor activity. As for the outdoors it is like a totally different venue....the batting cages, mini golf, and go karts are pretty solid. So if you're coming for that stuff it's good..... the staff is powerless and machines inside are garbage based on my experience today. I can't support a local business that when you present an issue, they do nothing about it----then you walk out and throw your money in the trash can in the form of a plastic card that does not work. read more

Lots of things to do for kids and adults. They have mini golf, batting games (softball and baseball in different speeds), go karts, inflatables, laser tag, etc. They do have party packages. This was our second time to this location. Last time, all of us did the go karts, but this time was just my oldest son. Then the kids went to play video games for awhile. We never interacted with any employees except when my son did the go karts, so no comment with that. We already had a card (that you place money on for games, karts, etc), so we just added money at the kiosk. I love the idea of the card. However, it is so much easier to spend your money that way, too. The kids go around playing arcade games just swiping the card. All the games are different prices. With the card, the kids (& adults) don't watch what their spending. The money can go fast. It's also nice that the tickets you earn go on the card. I have not done a party there, but looking at the packages, I would not book a party there. read more

Here is my definition for fun: Going to Badger Sports Park and doing ALL THE THINGS! This place has so much to do, go karts, mini golf, batting cages, laser tag, laser maze, big inflatable bouncy things, and tons of games. My inner nine year old child came out when I took my little brother from Big Brothers Big Sisters to celebrate our birthdays and it was a blast. We started off with the games like the shooting up aliens game to Nascar racing, skee ball and giant Connect Four. You can never go wrong with go karts even on a cool windy day as it's always fun to race around the curvy course. The laser maze was a fun challenge as you're trying to touch the lights on the wall but there are lasers in the way. If you touch one of the lasers then it adds to your time. Our favorite game was the laser tag. The space was kind of small, but still really fun. I was in an unusual situation of being one of the tallest people playing (I'm 5' 4") as there were a lot of little kids playings. Good thing they couldn't shoot at my shins, otherwise I would have been toast! This is a great place to have birthday parties as there's a lot of space and you can reserve a table and order food for the party. Beware parents, it can get pricey really fast. Between me and my lil bro I spent around $70. It was a total blast and completely worth it. read more

It place was fun.!!! I, my friend liz, Paula and others played mini golf.!!! I was very hot, but we finish the game and then we all got some drinks.! They also have go karting, mini bowling and other stuff there.!!! I think we will be back soon. I recommend this place.!!! read more

This is a great place for familes and we always have a great time. They are a bit on the expensive side, but I always find a great deal on a weeknight. Badger always has a great selection of new games and some great prizes. I have not tried many things on their menu, but the pizza is really good. Getting a good deal on the pizza and a pitcher of drink easily feeds out family of seven for under $20. read more

My 3-year-old son loves to let out his energy on the inflatables. Laser tag is sweet for parents and older kids. The pizza is yummy.

Do not throw a birthday party here if you have a wide variety of ages. We've had my son's birthday here three times now. We had great experiences our first two times. The most recent one was terrible. We told our hostess we wanted laser tag for the older kids, and inflatables and bowling with unlimited games for the younger ones. After the first session of laser tag, we were told that we can't get a second one because they don't allow us to book two of them. It clearly states on their website that there is a limit of two laser tag games. Then the unlimited games was not unlimited. The games that were supposed to be unlimited ended up taking money from the cards. When my husband spoke to the assistant manager, he was told that we didn't have unlimited games and mini bowling because our party package only allowed two activities and they refuse to split it between the kids based on their ages. He was told that it's too bad that half of the kids in our party aren't old enough to play laser tag and that they made it clear to us already when we reserved the party. They never made it clear and in the past they were willing to split it so kids not old enough to do certain activities could do two different activities. The assistant manager did give us the unlimited games in the end. Our hostess pretty much disappeared after she brought out the cake and pizza. She didn't even bring a lighter to light the candles after we asked her for one. We had to ask someone for a lighter and then go to the kitchen and ask for a knife to cut the cake too. When she came back again, it was just to have my son spin the wheel. She told us she'd be back to take a photo of him and the other kids. She never came back to take the photo. She also left all the coupon books on the birthday table instead of handing it to us. We will not be doing any more birthday parties here again. read more

Me my girlfriend and her younger brother went here today (Saturday) at about 1. It wasn't busy for the first two hours. After that it was a little more busy, but we didn't wait in a line longer than 5 minutes. We played the laser tag first, it wasn't bad. Probably the most updated laser tag I've seen. The only thing I didn't like about it was the amount of hits you would have to get before your opponent was deactivated. There were several times when an opponent and I would be at arms length just shooting each other for 30 seconds or so until one was deactivated. Not much skill or fun in that. After we went go carting, played games in the arcade, and hit some balls in the batting cages several times, which was all really fun. We also played the mini golf, but the actual "course" or whatever you call it wasn't maintained very well. Still fun though. I would recommend this if you are looking for some good fun. read more

We have been here several times and even had my son's 10th birthday party here last year. We have had a great time at each visit. The laser tag is awesome. It's a bit pricey if you have to entertain the little ones for a bit while the boys play laser tag. The birthday party was well worth the money. The attendant was helpful. She kept us on schedule. We purchased a $50 card for the games and was charged $2.50 tax. I don't know of any other attraction place that charges tax for the games. Also, if you purchase a $30 card, you receive $10 free, but if you purchase a $60 card, you received $25 free, and it would have been nice of the attendant to bring it to our attention, so we could have bought a $60 card.
