I called to schedule a consultation, and some assistant answered and spoke with me very briefly as she said that she was in a meeting and would get back to me. This was around lunchtime. She asked me when a good time would be later that day, and I replied that I would be free all day and to call at her convenience. She asked if it would be OK to call as late as 7 p.m., and I said that it would be fine. 7pm came and went, and she finally called before 8 pm. That was a first red flag for me. Her speech was extremely fast, and her vocabulary was interesting with terms like Coolio, awesome, etc, which I thought was interesting for a law assistant. But I scheduled a consultation anyway. She asked for $650 for a 1 hour in person consultation and then changed her mind and asked for $350 for a 30-minute phone consultation. That was red flag number 2. Next, she asked for my email and told me I'd be receiving a confirmation. The email confirmation never came, and the appointment has come and gone with nobody calling me at all. I guess my business is not worth their time. I wouldn't recommend this business. I have since booked another attorney, and it didn't cost anything upfront. read more
