My daughter actually pointed this one out to me when we were walking past as she had spied a range of Cath Kidston bags that were right up my street. Wonderland is a step up from the others I've seen as they stock designer products as well as less known (and less expensive) brands. There's a fabulous range and the shop assistant I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful; sadly she told me the designer ranges weren't discounted in the sale but everything else was. Still, it's nice to have a place where you can buy at several price points and lust after the things you can't afford. There's handbags through to cabin luggage and everything is excellent quality and much more interesting than those other bags shops that all seem to have the same things at exorbitant prices.

I had no idea what kind of brands or styles of things were the best to buy, and I found when I went into large chain stores or big brand stores, the staff there just gave me one item of everything I needed in order to get me to spend a few hundred bucks in their store. Mac Pac Newmarket wasn't like that. In fact, they recommended their back pack, which I ended up buying, and gave me good examples of other places I should get the other things I needed. I was enquiring about a offer which was advertised in the store when the sales assistant (Karishma and Inah) began talking very rudely to my family. They began getting quite angry, refused to answer our questions and started shouting at us. They threatened us that they will call the security for no apparent reason as from our side we were talking calmly with proper manners. They also began telling us to get out of the store, I must say that with the kind of customer service provided I do not think I will return to the store. Your staff are not properly trained and have absolutely no respect for customers. As a sales assistant they should be able to answer their customers queries and fulfil their requests as that is what they are being paid to do. Sales assistants are representing your business and are required to provide customers with excellent service to ensure that customers return and so that these customers give good will to the business to their family and friends. I'm not that upset about the customer service I received in general however I am more upset of the fact that I received this service without any reason. The sales assistants at this store was very judgemental, rude and completely clueless. The sales assistant Karishma was especially rude as when I asked her for her name to make a complaint she then hid her name tag. I then asked the other sales assistant for her name she just ignored me and began to look up towards the ceiling. What did she find interesting up on the ceiling I still do not know. I actually thought that Strandbags was a well know store here in New Zealand but visiting their store now, the store is probably well known for its shitty customer service. Tango is hands down the best place in town to get your hands on designer and name-brand vintage that's in top condition, but there are also less expensive items, like costume jewellery and handbags.
