Patrick Bailey seemed to have been a great attorney, I used him twice for divorce and some property settlement again later on after the divorce was final. However, the second time he did not deliver on one aspect, he did not properly serve my ex husband which resulted in me not getting attorney fees paid back by my ex. I continued on with a second part I had originally discussed with him- (paying another $1200+ for) and when I questioned why I was not compensated for the error. His reply was essentially to admit the error but not take responsibility for it. I even included the transcripts for proof. If you are a good business person you make up for your errors. Mark Bailey represented my ex. He never filed the paperwork with the office of retirement services as he was supposed to. I found out 7 years later when I was talking to ORS. ORS was even disgruntled with his work that they had on file. Weird though is that he filed so my ex could get my pension but didn't file so I could get the portion of my ex's pension I was entitled to. He was paid to handle this and failed. Weird? I think not. Looking for an ADAM lawyer i hired Mark Bailey. I didn't get any updates on my case. No efforts were made to expedite a clearly dangerous situation. When I said the only thing happening in a timely manner was the billing, I was told that I asked too many questions that I need to watch my tone or risk becoming an ex-client. 2 days before flying in for my hearing with FOC I found out he had done nothing to prepare for my case and all but quit so I fired him. He will send you one line email questions repeatedly charging you $60 for each. He will have his assistant contact you without having any of the information to effectively communicate what is going on, then charge you $60 for a phone call that gave you nothing but a promise to call you back that never happens. They will send you copies of everything and charge you $.17 each page and then some after they already sent you the files electronically. They will change court dates and charge you for their burdensome problems with scheduling communication. I wish I saw more online for how this firm operates before I gave them a retainer. Still trying to get the rest of my money back that they didn't take while doing nothing effectively. read more

I hired MATTHEW Bailey as my attorney. He never seemed into my case. He talked to me in the beginning on how the days where men had no rights are gone. However every time we went to court or FOC (when he showed up) we got less. By the end I was genuinely frustrated. Cost me $10,000 to get less then what FOC would have just given me. read more

I hired Matthew Bailey for a custody case. He didn't seem genuinely concerned about my case or about the best interest of my child. He over-billed me (they agreed to change the billable hours after I called him out on it). After the case was over, I asked a question and he was very rude and said that he bills for answering questions to "unnecessary emails" and that I'd receive a new bill. 100% do not hire. read more

If there were "0" starts available I would choose that. I used Matthew Bailey for what should have been a simple, easy divorce. Matt has NO aggression & allowed my husband's atty. to call all the shots. They were in contempt of court from almost the very beginning but Matt never filed even one motion to enforce that. They owed me over $7,000 in past due court ordered pre-divorce alimony but no attempt was made by Matt to enforce that. He made financial arrangements with me part way through and then reneged on the agreement as soon as I paid him the lump sum (over $5,000). This man & the firm are untrustworthy, unethical, & inept. Our mediator told Him "I can't teach you how to practice law" when he asked multiple inept questions. Matt quit speaking to me 6 months in and it took a full day of back & forth e-mails to accomplish what a 30 min. phone call would have done. We set up 8 mediations which were ALL cancelled by Matt the day before or day of the set date. Having mediation would have produced a totally different outcome to this divorce. He quit by e-mail 2 months before negotiations for my divorce were over. I spent $33,000.00 with NO RESULTS. I was totally screwed by the opposing attorney in the divorce.
