He is able to diagnose and treat a surprisingly large number of horses in a single day. The facility itself is first class. From the moment you enter the automatic gates to paying your bill it's quite an enjoyable experience. There is a large, covered receiving area where you unload your horse and wait for the doctor. There are attendants galore to assist you. Everything is clean and well finished. Looks like something out of a high end racehorse stable in Kentucky. Dr. Honnas is clearly very skilled. He quickly and properly diagnosed our lame horse, offered treatment options, explained clearly what the problem was and took the time to show/explain to us the xrays and test results. The horse was boarded there for a day and had surgery on both feet the following day. We were able to unhitch and leave our trailer on site at no charge. I highly recommend this facility and this doctor.

We just sat in that in that little room waiting and waiting for a room for her. I felt like they treated her like an object. Alarms on her monitors were constantly going off and no one would check on them. They showed absolutely no compassion. It was such a terrible experience. Definitely recommend staying with your loved ones, because you have to advocate for them because the staff does not care.
