Spent $14 on a car wash at the pump while getting gas. Pump tells me that the cashier has my receipt (with the car wash code on it of course). When I try to go in there is a note saying the person is on break and to pay at pump. Well isn't that just wonderful. Thankfully I remembered that I get an e-receipt from Shell, so I got my code from my email and decided to come back the next day. In the midst of this I noticed the car wash line was super long and some people were actually BACKING OUT of going in. Didn't think anything of it. I was on a time crunch and since you have 14 days to use your code I decided to come back later. I returned the very next morning and input my code. In doing that surprise , surprise the car wash DOES NOT WORK and sprays a bit of water then literally stops working while my car is inside it. You would think if the car wash was clearly having problems the day before there'd be a sign or something. None of that was the case. To save myself from further frustration I left. I'm down $14 and that's fine , but it will definitely be the last penny this place gets from me. read more

I have the app so if I get any car wash or buy anything it sends me my receipt I love that. They are clean, the ladies are nice, the new rebel app has cool deals and free stuff when you download it from the App Store. I never have problems here and I go here day or night they are open whether it's at the window or through the door someone is always there which is great. read more

This station is under a new manager and he has really done a god job of making you feel welcome. There are new pumps and customer service has improved greatly. They have new pumps and the staff is welcoming. No more homeless hanging around asking for money. read more

I stopped going here mainly because of the never-ending supply of beggars that float around this place. They're not even homeless. It is also located on a small lot that gets crowded easily and is hard to maneuver around sometimes. If you're paying with cash or want some snacks, the convenience store is pretty tiny and you're leaving yourself vulnerable for the panhandlers to approach you. Best to only come here as a last-resort. read more

This place needs to figure out some way to get this place on lock. They are always getting robbed. On the plus side they are next to the freeway and Bart. Every time people get pulled over they end up at shell. Don't go there during late commute hours. Place is sorta packed. 2 ways cars and homeless. Across the street is the new tower mart. Usually the beat the gas competition, just remember quality always beats quantity. But that only applies if your pockets roll deep. read more

The older Iranian guy is rude, condescending, and an a$$hole. He kept running my card as debit..i kept telling him it was a credit card. I asked him why he was so rude...he then yells at me and says "I'm not rude!!" There was 5 customers behind me...all mortified at how this prick was acting. Car wash malfunctioned. Dryer didn't work. It happens. I requested they restart so I could get my car dried. "YOU PEOPLE are always trying to scam us. No we're not going to turn it on". I tried to explain I wasn't asking for a refund (no scam) just to turn on the dryer. "Get the hell out of here before I call the police" long story short Sheriffs arrive, hear us out, police apologize to me for the stations "obviously not proper" attitude. Says they are embarrassed that people like that do business in Bay Point. Very poor customer service. Avoid. Chevron just a block down. read more

Manager/guy in charge very rude. Doesn't acknowledge customers. If people customers have questions he answers in a smart ass way acting like the customers are stupid and don't know anything. During a closed for shift change break a few of us customers knocked on the window to know how much longer it would take to re open and manager/guy in charge kept ignoring us and just kept mugging and ignoring. read more

I have no idea why this station is still in business. I had to get gas yesterday so since it's right off of the freeway I stopped. I will never stop there again. The screen on the pump was really scratched up, I thought I would be able to read it well enough to use it. After putting in all info needed to start the process I couldn't see anything else. Not wanting rove a car wash I stopped touching any other r except the help/disabled, they weren't on the screen. Seeing an obvious employee sweeping, I thought when she went inside she would help me. Now it's very clear that I am disabled, I use a prosthetic leg I had on shorts on. I know she saw me, I tried to wave her over when she looked at me. Instead she went inside, thought she would see that I had push the disabled/help button & come help. Not so, I canceled the pump & drove to the door went in told her the problem her response was they knew about the scratched screen, when they changed it it just got scratched again no help no sale. read more

I would avoid car wash for thi station. I have only use this car wash twice but both experiences were Bad. I don't believe they service the car wash often as it appears that it's always not functioning correctly. Although this has been addressed to the same gas attendant named Munir. No out of service sign were posted after the incident and continues to have the car wash running. Basically cheating everyone else and play ignorance about the problem at hand.
