I personally was blown away by the large variety of Soy candles. So many scents to sniff, my nose was getting confused. I finally selected, Simply Clean and Living Life. Both have a nice crisp clean fragrance. I also found a cute little sign that says, "FOOD is my bestie". It looks great on the bookshelf filled with all my cookbooks in the kitchen. I thought it was appropriate for a foodie. There were many other things I liked, so much that I wish they were closer to home. They'd be a perfect match for the Maplewood neighborhood. We met a local person who told us that this place was connected to a church and that proceeds from sales would help the local community. Sounds good. I'm not real big on thrift shops, but we stopped in. Books and clothes and household items. Didn't find anything that I absolutely had to have. Prices are reasonable. Most items had price stickers. I did see two CorningWare casserole dishes with lids that were rather tempting, but I would have had to carry them a couple of miles back to the car. I actually passed on them! One was shallow, dark brown, with a cornucopia motif. The other was the classic blue flower. Maybe I was an idiot to pass on those. Go grab 'em if you can. Tell 'em I sent ya.
