Amazing tapas
Laura B.

Would you like to pop by Lisbon and try a few bites of all of their specialty tapas? This is the exact restaurant to visit. I'm so happy to have came here tonight. The concept is that they bring you 22 tapas and 6 deserts ( you can ask for more of any, but we were stuffed) and you try and find out your favorites. It's like an omakase of tapas :) Each dishes was made with love and my tummy is super happy, I'm sure you'll be too. Don't miss out!!

Come hungry, they give you a food tour of Portugal at this one restaurant with over 15 small plates including dessert. Service was amazing and accommodating multiple languages. it is located in a courtyard Accessed through a door between 2 restaurants.

It might be a good intro as the first meal in Portugal so you have a taste of the country. But not as ideal towards the end of the trip (let's blame this on my bad planning) It's probably a good deal for a lot of people but a buffet in the quality isn't something I really want to waste my stomach space when I travel.

Stop searching Yelp and just go here for your first meal (warning, it will be hard to beat). PASS by Time Out market and just behind it beyond the courtyard about halfway down the block you'll see a space between two buildings on the left ..go there and you'll find this gem. For 25€ you'll get a set menu of 22courses and 6desserts with the option to order more of whatever you like. The food comes fast and the owner personally checks in on every table, top notch service. All authentic cuisine and each dish knocking it out of the park. Can't recommend it enough!!

A unique dining experience where can you get introduced to a lot of what Portugal has to offer during your trip. I really liked the small plates, as it gives you just enough to try so that you can order more of what you like. 22+ dishes with dessert is a nice way to enjoy a night on the patio. Standouts were the Black chorizo with goat cheese, and the Octopus Salad. Service is super friendly and accommodating. Only thing was that the desserts did not do it for me, as they were all mousses or puddings. Would have preferred some variety!

The concept here is AYCE for €19 across 22 plates + 6 desserts. Service was incredible. They are really kind and warm and helpful in explaining that the menu was curated to allow customers to try a little of everything and order more if they want. However we were stuffed so didn't order behind the first round. The sangria here was one of the best I've had. I think I had a handful of favorite plates, like the barbecue chorizo, black chorizo with goat cheese, and the codfish. All the desserts were too sweet for our tastes but our favorites were their Home dessert and the panna cotta. Overall it was a fun experience, but the food didn't blow us away!

I have to agree with everyone that this place is a must if you are visiting Portugal for the first time. $19 for a TON of tapas plus free refills is a must. It really is a great way to experience traditional food and see what you like/dislike so you can reorder from other restaurants. My bf and I came here for dinner on Day 1 and it was the perfect way to start our trip. It was a lot of fun trying so many different dishes. Be sure to make reservations in advance because it got very busy and we heard the staff tell multiple people that the wait time would be over an hour. The codfish pastry, woodpecker, chorizo and tuna cream with bread were our favorites. I would recommend everyone stopping here on day 1 so you know what to order the rest of your trip in Portugal!

Found this spot on Tiktok, and made sure to try it on my recent vacation to Portugal. All I can say is WOW!!! Definitely my favorite meal during my time in Lisbon. You cannot beat the price (19 euros per person for UNLIMITED tapas?!?) and it was an excellent way to try lots of different traditional dishes. Though I didn't like every single dish, I thought the concept and variety of the dishes was well worth a visit. The sangria is also fire (HIGHLY recommend getting a pitcher). The space is small, but I got seated fairly quickly on a Saturday evening, and would definitely recommend both visitors & locals try this restaurant!

We had a difficult time locating the restaurant cuz there's no sign outside to indicate doorway. After walking back and forth several times we finally found entryway. It's a weekend but business was slow that night. It's a small establishment with shared patio with 2 other restaurants & pub. Service is good, server would detail each plate of food she brings to our table. It is AYCE, price is reasonable for the amount of food served. We love the variety of dishes they offer, and they allow you to request as many helping of any item on their menu. It was a pleasant dining experience. I do recommend to try it out. Our visit was during February 2023

Great experience! We loved trying all the dishes- the octopus and the black chorizo were our favorites! The place is kind of hidden in a courtyard and we loved eating outside. The service was great and we would come back.

At this restaurant they tell you not to worry about the food, and I love it. You have to decide only on a drink, and they will bring you every dish on the menu even if you are only one person. Of course you can decline anything and let them know if you have allergies. Or, if you find something you like, you can order more of it. All for 25 Euros. Delightful experience and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is calm and enjoyable.

You get all this (including the desserts) for €20 per person

It was packed with people, which was a good sign. We enjoyed all our dishes, especially the tiger prawns, octopus, and seafood rice. The sangria was average. Pastries de Bacalhau - the crust was not brown enough. May be longer time. The stuffing was flavorful but it's more the cod taste than the flavored mash potatoes which I prefer. I actually prefer the other local restaurant I tried the night before better. Caldo Verde - The potatoe part of the soup is great. Perfect viscosity but the flavor is not. It wasn't salty enough but more importantly is the flavor of the veggies and the spicy sausage they supposed to use that makes the soup taste different. Grilled giant pawns - The flavor of the prawns is not as intense as expected and hope to be. The squid ink pasta also lacked of flavor. That's disappointing. With the prawns, they should at least use the prawn shell to make sauce for the pastas. The pasta was tasteless, didn't even use enough garlic and olive oil to flavor it up. Seafood rice - Another disappointment. They used fish, small mussels and little bit of shrimp pieces along with some bigger whole shrimps and mussels. However, the rice was lack of the true seafood flavor that made from shell fish. They also added cilantro which overwhelmed the whatever left of seafood flavor. The lemonade was not a sweet lemonade but sour. Fyi. It's not fair we just went to another restaurant in the neighborhood and everything was so much better but people should know.

The fact that my husband and I got there before anyone else came, allowed us to have the most amazing conversation with the staff that works there!! Faysal greeted us and was very welcoming! As we ate dinner, Bernardo who is a waiter there, told us the history of the building etc and since no one else was there, we talked about our families and that he going to be a veterinarian...and that he has something else coming up that is going to be exciting. All through our dinner we chatted with him (as if we were having dinner at his house) and enjoyed every minute of the conversation!! It was the best part of the evening! We even got to meet Miguel the chef, and were happy to tell him his food was amazing! I can't recommend this restaurant enough!!! They only charge 19.60 euro for all you can eat!!!! I hope a lot of people read this and go to Rosa da Rua!!!

The restaurant was quaint and intimate , with a small buffet that easily fills you up. There were many options from a beef stew to a curry, a noodle dish with bacon, salad, and other options. They even explained the options to us. I truly wish we had more time in Lisbon because I would have definitely returned to try it again as the options differ nightly. I would definitely recommend this to all in Lisbon.
