    Steak and Fried Chips

Restaurante Duque in Lisbon was very good. They actually have two locations; a main addressed and signed location and an overflow location a few doors down. Both spots were full, so a reservation is recommended. We ordered the Octopus and the Steak with Fried Chips. The Octopus was tender and the taste was fantastic. The steak was a little thin but very good. The fresh fried potato chips were excellent. The interior was nicely decorated, tight, and had a homely vibe. Regarding the service, it was excellent.

Fresh seafood and reasonable prices. Settled on a hilly street . Make sure to try the octopus salad for a real treat . Good service and fresh food make this place worth a try

There's no way I would have found this place if it's not because of yelp. It's unassuming and on a small side street but I'm really glad we found it. We had the mussels and octopus salad as appetizer, followed by the grilled sea bass. Everything was seasoned well and tasted fresh. It was a lot of food for 2 people so be sure to go there hungry! We would have gone back again if we had more days in Lisbon but sadly we went there the day before our departure, so until next time.

Feel lucky that I was able to return and it remains my favorite restaurant in Lisbon! The interior seems to have gotten an update in decoration since my last visit, and service was very attentive. Highlights of our meal included the starters of fried prawns, braised tuna with sweet potato, and mussels. The sea rice was just as good and packed with seafood as I remembered. All of my dining partners enjoyed this as their introduction to food in Portugal!

Duque's sirloin steak (€19,50). Tough and dry

I had high hopes for Duque, as it got good reviews from several different sources. Maybe they had an off night? The oven roasted octopus was alright. I liked the fried leeks and sweet potato mash that came with it. The vegetable braz with truffled oil was...interesting? Funny, one of the staff came to drop it off and she timidly placed it on the table, said what it was as if she was waiting for us to object to the dish. It did the job of getting a veggie serving into our diet that evening. The sirloin steak was pretty bad: overcooked, dry and tough. We ordered it medium rare and it came out medium. The photo I took actually looks like it would be ok, but looks can be deceiving. The potatoes were good: nice and crispy. Cute ambiance. They have several restaurants down this street. Reservations available online 30 days in advance.

I would go back to Lisbon in a heart beat to dine at Duque again! For those who are traveling or visiting Lisbon you must stop in for a meal. This was literally the best meal I ever had! Two words. Octopus Salad! You must get it. It is so fresh, juicy, tender MMMM. Their seafood rice is to die for. Literally if it was my last day on earth I would go back here!!

This restaurant was full too; no problem; it like many others; have a "room" up the street. Idk. Anyway, wait staff is lovely, food is delicious! We loved everything we ate. We really liked our server. This place was a great way to end our day of walking & walking!

I was there a few days ago. I found this restaurant by watching one youtube influencer. 1) Small restaurant 2) decor is kind of cute. Portugese restaurant style 3) This restaurant suppose you need reservations. I went in early May, still a lot of tourist. I have to wait for 35 minutes, almost 8:45pm, then I got seated, that is ok. 4) Waiter came very fast and food arrive very fast. 5) Nice employees there. 6) I got grilled large tiger pawn and black squid ink pasta. very good 7) grilled seabass, my husband has. Around $15 Euro. Super good 8) also got Ceviche fish 9) got chocolate mousse for dessert. it is so good and I eat here the next day again. It is "that good".

    Olives and cheese. All delish!

My wife and I were in Lisbon for a week and finished a Tuc-Tuc tour on our first day and I found this place on Yelp. It was pretty close to our hotel. I ordered a big beer to start off and we got some olive and hummus appetizer. Really good. Our service was quiet but she was nice. I ordered the full sea bring. Oh, so good. I love a whole fish, and here it was 15 Euro. Lotts of good accouterments on the side too. Pretty small place, so get there early, but they have two other nearby locations I think. Great lunch in Lisbon!

This should be the #1 restaurant in Lisbon right now. The food is so worth it and the price is shockingly inexpensive. We ordered the white fish ceviche, duque's cod & oven roasted octupus. The sauce for the octupus dish was so creamy and sweet potato-ey it's not something you find in a seafood dish but it fits right in! Everything we ordered was a 10/10. If u dont like soury food, the ceviche was sour x2. The restaurant itself was really quaint and small but consisted of 4 other rooms next to each other. We made a reservation for 9:30pm and were seated right away. This place gets packed so make your resy.

This restaurant was an awesome Yelp find! We ordered the Duck breast and cod fritters/croquettes and both were amazing! This ended up being one of my favorite meals in Lisbon. It is kind of confusing because when you arrive, there are three restaurants that are all named Duque restaurant in a row on the same street. These are all the same restaurant, owned by the same people, and have the same menu so you can choose whichever location has more seats available!

    One happy diner!

We throughly enjoyed our dining experience here! Highly recommend putting this wonderful bistro on your list for a great meal when in Lisbon.

Fish rice was amazing! Everything was so fresh and delicious

Do yourself a favor and go here instead of those huge over-the-top places. This was the best Portuguese food we had and the ambiance and service was amazing. They have a few different spots so depending on availability, you may be down the street from their original location but it's all the same. I had the seafood rice and it was AMAZING! Everybody at the table enjoyed their food as well. My husband had the sea bass which was excellent but a lot of work since it was a whole fish, but it DID slow down his eating. We had the braised tuna to start and that was delicious too. Dessert looked simple (it's cake in a jar), but the strawberry cheesecake one was the best!

The fact that my husband and I got there before anyone else came, allowed us to have the most amazing conversation with the staff that works there!! Faysal greeted us and was very welcoming! As we ate dinner, Bernardo who is a waiter there, told us the history of the building etc and since no one else was there, we talked about our families and that he going to be a veterinarian...and that he has something else coming up that is going to be exciting. All through our dinner we chatted with him (as if we were having dinner at his house) and enjoyed every minute of the conversation!! It was the best part of the evening! We even got to meet Miguel the chef, and were happy to tell him his food was amazing! I can't recommend this restaurant enough!!! They only charge 19.60 euro for all you can eat!!!! The restaurant was quaint and intimate , with a small buffet that easily fills you up. There were many options from a beef stew to a curry, a noodle dish with bacon, salad, and other options. They even explained the options to us. I truly wish we had more time in Lisbon because I would have definitely returned to try it again as the options differ nightly. I would definitely recommend this to all in Lisbon.

Like most restaurants in Portugal you start with bread, cheese, and olives. The cheese was very smooth and the olives tasted fresh. I opted for the chicken plate and it wasn't too heavy but was jam packed with flavor. Everything from start to finish was absolutely wonderful. For my meal, I went with Açorda de Camarão, which is a bread porridge with shrimp. I jokingly referred to this dish as "Portuguese shrimp and grits". ;) The blend of flavors and seasonings was absolutely amazing. While eating the dish, I told my partner that I could eat this dish everyday and even twice on Sunday. In fact, the next day when were having having some trouble deciding on a place to have dinner, I was like let's go back to the place that has "Portuguese shrimp and grits". ;) If you are hungry, this is the place for you because the portions were huge for the price. After eating my Açorda de Camarão for lunch, I wasn't hungry again until well into the late evening - even after walking around Lisbon for most of the day. Another delicious part of our lunch - the grilled octopus. In my opinion, the octopus was perfectly grilled and seasoned with a chewy, but not too chewy, texture. I thought the prices were reasonable, especially considering the restaurant is located in a very touristy part of town. The restaurant has a nice outdoor dining area where you can enjoy your delicious food and wine while enjoying the hustle and bustle of Lisbon. I thought service was fine. Although our waiter was not the friendlies of characters, he wasn't flat out rude. When I visit Lisbon again, this restaurant (in particular the Açorda de Camarão) will definately be on my "must do" list.
