HORRIBLE! Honestly the worst delivery I have ever received from Drizly. They didn't have the size of Bacardi I ordered. They didn't have the flavor of Brut Rose Andre. They sent me Moscato instead of normal Brut. The one Brut they did send me was busted. I have never had a worse experience with Drizly. I want to add that I just spoke with someone who was very rude, lying about what he sent, and dismissive. This is why black businesses fail. read more

If you value your time or money, do not order from this store. I ordered via their online system, not only do they never have the wine noted, the orders are constantly incorrect. So you have to follow-up with them via phone or wait for whatever imbecile that works there to realize they need to follow-up with you. The one time I didn't do it myself, the less the smart kid they have hired, and that happens to be putting it kindly ( who happens to be the owner's nephew) put me on long holds and refused to amend the order. However, when they have they issues I have to be compromising. This issue then proceeded by some low grade driver calling to yell at me. My next complaint is to the BB. If you want a good wine shop or even a liquor store, go to Discount Wine & Liquor on 179th and Hillside better service, actually remembers repeat customers and is nice to them. This is why I don't buy in neighborhoods like Baisely and Rochdale, low grade businesses with prison mentalities of low grade people. If you go in to the store it's cool but if you order online it's TRASH!! So I first started ordering from them about 2 years ago on the minibar app. They didn't do a good job updating the inventory on the app and then from time to time you get a call from one of them having to replace your order. And then it would take hours for them to deliver. Then shortly after that they disappeared on the minibar app. Now that this pandemic started we've ordered from them on the Drizly app. Wednesday I ordered from them at 7pm didn't get my delivery until after 10pm. Today my man ordered from them at 6 and we called them at 10:34 to see what's up and some ignorant bitch picked up the phone and had an attitude talking about bc of the pandemic the demand is high. Then I called them again at 11:17 and I'm assuming the owner picked up. 1st he said that there was 15 orders out for delivery then He said that we probably didn't get our order bc it was voided. I said no that's not it you guys have done this before. He gets mad and is like who are you and starts talking shit. I ended up cursing him out and he hung up. How you going to catch an attitude with me and your HOURS LATE with my Delivery!! If your demand is high then get some more drivers. It is completely unacceptable to have ppl waiting for HOURS for their delivery. The fact that y'all had the audacity to have a attitude is hilarious. We're in the middle of a Pandemic we are stuck in the house. We're are trying relax and you guys are playing with ppl's deliveries and it's not cool. Three stars for two completely different experiences. This will probably be a bit lengthy, but all relevant info. TL;DR - the short version is that it's an average liquor store that's trying to stand out by offering delivery (with no delivery charge), but they fail in that aspect with long wait times and misleading info. Now, if you want the back story.. bear with me... I was using Drizly for the first time and thought the idea of having my liquor delivered was perfect for the lazy American I am. Baisley Liquors (BL) seemed to be the only spot in the area that uses this service (as well as MiniBar). Cool. The order minimum is $25 so I went with two bottles of wine. The good news was that there's no delivery charge. Sweet! Drizly advertises this "one hour or less" delivery time and BL is less than 15 minutes away, so I figured Let's Do This! BL's delivery driver doesn't use whatever device they have Drizly installed on so you can't track where your order is in real time like UberEats. Anywho, I received my wine in about 30 minutes and was pleasantly satisfied. Made a customer out of me for sure. The second time I ordered was a few days ago and it was the complete opposite. I placed my order and included tip to make it a $45 check. A little over an hour passed by and I called to follow up on my order. The girl answering the phone said my order was on its way without asking for any information on said order. Okay... Two hours have now gone by & I call again because some plans came up so I needed to leave my house. I call BL to tell them this and the girl says she'll call the driver to see where he is and call me right back. Spoiler alert: She never called back. About 10 minutes passed after leaving my house and the driver calls. He was able to work with me and I just asked if he could just deliver it the next day and he was fine with that. Turns out I ended up in the area the following day and just decided to pick it up myself (driver tip still included). As a stand alone liquor store, it's decent. It'll most likely have what you're looking for, but you can't really browse as you have to do business through a glass wall. As a delivery service, (and I should've checked reviews beforehand) they completely drop the ball and continue to do so. They're the only ones to do this in the area which probably creates more of a demand than they can handle, but they have to choose between being available for the service or focus on being the neighborhood liquor store and beating out the competition with pricing and good ol' customer service. I probably won't order from them again and just take my butt to Johnny's Liquor that's only a few mins away from me instead. read more

Ordered from here twice using drizzly. Horrible experience both times and got the same excuse both times. There was an issue with the order before yours, the driver had to return to resolve it. The first time I ordered, I was in to town for a funeral. They said it would take under an hour. Then after the hour passed I called and that's when they told me about the issue. They were not proactive at all. And they were laughing in the background the whole time. The order came 1 hour later than expected. The second experience, I ordered at 659 pm EST and got the bottles at minutes to 9. It said under an hour though. They told me the same story about the driver having to return to handle an issue. read more

Owner had worker who didn't know about wines call me because he didn't have any of the JOSH wine. He took the phone from the worker and said he was going to send me a subpar 7 dollar wine after i ordered a 14 dollar bottle of wine . How do those compare? Then he hung up the phone saying he's canceling my order because he does not have time to help me choose a replacement. Am I to be penalized because he is not updating his delivery site? Everything on the site was unavailable. They should take the time to update their inventory to avoid this or have employees who know wine. Worker gave wrong information. I then called him back and said i could talk to someone else if he is too busy to help patrons. I am paying extra money for a service, he should try to accommodate me. It is not my fault he wanted to be on drizzly only selling grocery store caliber wine and hard liquor. He has workers he cant trust to ring people up so he doesn't have time. He said he is cancelling my order and hung up the phone. Now i have guests coming with no wine. And have to wait 3-5 business days to get my money back ? Who told him I have money or time to now get dressed and go to find an open wine shop? VERY RUDE And unprofessional. this is my 3rd time having issues with this store not having items or just not showing up. They need to be removed. read more

Called numerous times to try and gauge how long it would take, was lied to by ownership numerous times for how long it would take. Only received a $10 waiver for an order that was supposed to take under an hour. Cursed out by delivery when trying to find out how long it would take. Just such a mess. Absolutely love this place! Its a black owned business (which is so needed in the community it is in) and it is family owned. Every time I go in there I am greeted with a smile and warmth. I always come in for the same thing (Bartenura or Henny!) and they are always well stocked and ready to fill my requests. The store is always cleaned and there is rarely an empty shelf in sight. I have even been in there and been offered tastings of new products they are carrying. At this point I am a regular and they know my name. One time I was having a get together and used their delivery service (rare for liquor stores in this area) and it came within 30 minutes and was delivered right to my front door. I don't think I would go to any other liquor store. And I heard they have another location in BK so check that out if you're in the area. read more

do not do not order from here!!!! no wonder they do not have a yelp (until i just added them). i ordered my fourrrr bottles of pinot noir at 9pm, and it got here at 11:55 pm. i called them at 1030 and asked what was up and the owner! yes owner told me that i should understand his predicament and sometimes orders get cancelled. well turns out he calls me back and says they switched over shifts and he never saw my order so it was "his mistake", okay fine. mistakes happen. whatever. i ignored his horrible attitude because he said he was going to throw in an extra two bottles. lies lies lies. i only got three bottles, and two bottles that he said he'd give me of his "best wine" i looked up and are valued at 5.00 a bottle so basically they stole my money because i spent $42 and received less bottles than i ordered valued at $27 dollars. absolutely horrible. i would call back and complain again but i don't feel like having the owner tell me to go f myself again in other words. never never never will i order from this place again. ** however, the delivery guy is very nice and apologetic and it isn't his fault, so go get yourself a new job at a better liquor store, bc this place is awful!!!! read more
