On August 5, Beto returned my phone call and informed me that the fire engineer was working on the required fire plans. He stated that the work would take approximately three weeks and that they expected to submit the remaining permit documents to the City of Sacramento during the first week of September 2026. We appreciated finally receiving a projected timeline and hoped the project was moving forward after 2 years since we signed the contact with them. On August 31, I sent Walter and Beto a written follow-up asking whether the fire plans were completed or close to completion and whether the project remained on schedule for submission during the first week of September. As of September 2, we have received no response to that email. We have also made multiple phone calls attempting to obtain an update, but have been unable to reach anyone. We understand that the first week of September has not yet ended, so we are still giving the company the opportunity to complete the submission within the timeline they provided. After nearly two years of delays, we sincerely hope they will follow through with this latest timeline and submit the remaining permit documents as promised. I will continue updating this review based on what actually happens.
