The customer service is awful. The employees give you inaccurate information. And when you call them out on it they make excuses. They should honor what is said. That's called customer service. I suggest new clients look elsewhere for their tanning needs. read more

Today was my first time going to a tanning bed and I couldn't have been happier. I went during lunch time so it wasn't busy but it was a great experience. I didn't catch the attendants name but he was super helpful. Showed me what to do, helped my pick out a good package based on my goal, and was over all very kind. I will be returning. read more

Wow... I went here for 3 months (June - August) to tan for my wedding... The owner is a snake I called to ensure I wouldn't be billed for September and the owner told me that according to the paperwork I needed to call on August 27th before being billed (it is September 1st...) for another full month and refused to give me a refund. I am disgusted with the lack respect and remorse. Clear way for the owner to snatch more money from people's wallets. read more

In my opinion, there's much better salons in the area. I personally like SunSeekers the best! I was a victim of false advertisement. I went in looking to purchase a two week membership to prepare for a vacation. I was convinced by the girl at the desk that it would be cheaper to sign up for a monthly membership and then just cancel it after one month. I agreed. Little did I know, they falsely advertise and do not allow a single months purchase, which wouldn't be a big deal if I had been informed. I wouldn't encourage anyone to trust this business and I personally will never return. read more

Great tanning salon in Fox Point, nestled in the heart of the North Shore. It has an intimate and private, yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I especially like that It's never too busy and I always just walk-in when I feel the need to catch some rays. The beds and rooms are always clean, the towels aren't worn out or rough, and I've never had a bed with a burned out bulb. They have multiple levels of tanning beds (including a high-pressure bed - my favorite) and offer pricing packages or pay-per-session. Prices are similar to other tanning salons in the North Shore. I highly recommend this tanning salon & I am a repeat customer. read more

I am not sure if the people complaining about this tanning salon are going to the same place I am because my husband and I have been customers for many years and have always tanned here before our vacations and have never had a complaint. The tanning salon and individual rooms and beds are kept spotless, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are good and we generally do not have to wait to tan. We have bought packages and not used them for 16 - 18 months and they were still available to us when we went back. I would recommend this salon to anyone in the area. read more

Baja Tan is always super clean, exceptionally friendly and reasonably priced. They have a full range of tanning beds from basic to The Matrix (!!!), knowledgable staff, spray tans and red light, and a large selection of tanning products. I moved 1/2 hour away so I tried tanning salons closer to where I live. Now I drive the extra miles to go to Baja Tan because it is SO much better than the others I tried. I love Baja !!! Everyone that works there is so sweet and knows your name. I've been to tanning salons that the reception desk is manned by a robot. The salon is always clean and has a nice modern feel. Their specials are a good price and I always leave there happier than when I came in. They also take the time to listen since I have a lot of stuff going on. They always make me feel better and I appreciate the fact that even though they're at work I consider all of them my friends. Nice and clean...in a convenient location and the staff is generally friendly. The only things I don't like are that the lights never really go off so its not the most relaxing and the walls are paper thin. When someone goes into a different room, and shuts the door it sounds like they are in your room. It makes me paranoid. read more

I must say not only is the staff very helpful and accommodating, the experience was painless and relaxing. So much so that I bought a gift card for a client who lives by the area. Dirty and the manager was so rude. I think she said her name was Allie. She was on the phone and actually stuck her finger out to tell me one minute. Unprofessional. She couldn't handle the upset customer on the phone at all and I only heard her attempt to do it. Unprofessional. Then while I was changing I could hear the conversation about another customer. She wanted to bang some guy who came to tan. Unprofessional. Won't be signing up here. Bed was okay but it didn't look like it had been cleaned in awhile. Crap on floor and door was dirty and black. Jenny one of the owners and her employees are very understanding of your needs and they carry the highest quality tanning products for all types of skin including hypersensitive and are very knowledgeable. Tanning prices are outstanding as the Matrix is the best deal I have found which includes free daily use of red light therapy bed. So many specials on tanning packages and you can put your tanning package on hold if you choose a pay by monthly package if you go on vacation and you can stop paying for your monthly tanning package with only a few days notice unlike many salons that require notification in writing and a 30 days notice before they stop taking their monthly fee from your bank account. This does not happen at Baja tan as they understand life brings many surprises and undue circumstances that you have little or no control over. You can also pay fore each time you tan or purchase only a few tanning sessions. Also have a spray tan using the highest quality products. I have tanned at over 8 places in my lifetime and this is by far the best tanning experience I have ever encountered considering I have been tanning indoors for over 30 years as I suffer from Seasonal depression and it helps my fibromyalgia especially use of the red light therapy. You cant go wrong when you join this Baja tanning salon in Fox Point , Mequon area right off of Brown Deer Road in a Plaza that has lots of shops including a yogurt shop where you can stop and have a treat after you tan.
