Most people don't think of Yelp as a place to find anything other than a restaurant nearby but can assure you it's much more. If a professional service business has good reviews it's because they did an amazing job so I can assure you to trust those reviews. Their website has a contact form which allows you to submit your request/concern after hours to have someone follow up and walk you through next steps. I was contacted by Jan who had been trying to reach me for over a week (due to me transposing a number for my cell phone) and she was so amazing at providing an overview of how the practice works and what to expect. She has a calming and empathetic way of handling clients and is a great Segway into what to expect after. Jan set an appointment with Matt about a week out who specializes in HOA issues (and had great reviews and feedback on the internet) so I was excited to get some expert feedback on what I should do. Matt called me on the dot for our scheduled appointment and immediately had a way of making me feel at ease -meaning I wasn't worried he was a shady attorney who will tell you anything to get you to put down a retainer. In fact, he did the opposite. He took the time to walk through each of my concerns, provided info on what I need to have on hand to build a case if I wanted, and also was able to reference Colorado laws. He also is the type to admit he might not be the expert in a certain field but could definitely find you one who was. Such an admirable trait to feel you weren't getting catfished :) Anyhow long story short, Matt took more time than allotted to answer my questions and make sure I had everything I needed to decide if I wanted to move forward with a case. He isn't pushy and felt like I was talking to a good friend who offered advice as the SME. Although I'm not sure what I'm doing with my case yet he provided me with more than enough info to help me understand how I can make a decision! I would highly recommend these guys if ever in need of a real estate matter and especially one that involves an HOA! They also do more but that is the reason I reached out! The court has her paying $1500 a month until she repays the $95,000 that she has paid. We tried talking to Mr. Howard and Scott from the firm and they will not speak to us or admit the error that Scott made. This firm is dishonest and not there to protect the client. They don't care. They wrote us an email that stated if we sue them and discredit them in any way they will go after us. I felt this was the easiest way to get our story out. We have all the emails from Scott Brenner and he made a huge mistake with my daughter-in-law. This is her life and he has destroyed it. The courts didn't want to look at any of the evidence which shows how our court system works and especially for minorities. Don't use this firm and especially this lawyer.
