I…read moregrabbed an egg sandwich on soft brioche and a drink and got in line behind 1 person at the left register. There were 2 people working behind the counter. The other staff member proceeded to take other customers behind me while I stood in line on the left as if I didn't exist. Food was decent though - the sandwich hit the spot. Had a bite of the almond croissant which was delicious. Plenty of seating to have a quick bite.

Since we were on United, which doesn't exactly have the best food, and I was planning to sleep a good part of the way, I ordered a bit of food here along with a Rivella Blue Zero, a Swiss drink made from whey. For food, I went with a Laugenbrötchen Mit Fleischwurst, or a lye roll, also known as a pretzel bun, topped with a German variant of bologna, which, compared to the US version, is a bit more spiced. Combined, the two came to CHF 14.40, or $18.78, which is expensive, but hey, it's Switzerland, and it's an airport. The woman I ordered from was friendly and seemed nice to hear my butchered German when I ordered. The sandwich also came with lettuce, pickles, and radish. I don't believe there was something else on there, but perhaps there was a bit of mayo or butter. The bread was alright, a bit dry, but the veggies helped with that. There was a bit of meat, and the veggies tasted fresh and worked well enough. It was perfectly alright and worked as a small, albeit expensive, snack.

The Infomation desk is nearby and they will give a wifi code that you can use for 2 hrs. As for food and drinks, I saw fruit flies flying over the breads and found one dead one in my ice tea.
