But they also had a Syrian confection that I was not familiar with--a square of kataifi pastry topped with a sort of pistachio praline. We ended up putting together a little assortment of four items to sample, and were looked after extremely solicitously by the staff, especially a Syrian guy (who pointed us in the direction of that Syrian treat). The coffee I ordered was among the best I had in Turkey, and the pastries were excellent, certainly better than most I had had elsewhere. Pricing is very fair, and posted clearly, so there is no mystery about what it's going to cost, and their English was very good.
