Maybe it's two brothers who came together as entrepreneurs and one runs the gas station and the other the store? Or maybe it's more mundane and just a business person who wasn't happy with the other Indian grocery stores in town and so decided to open his own? Anyway, my back-stories aside, I stopped here one evening as I needed to do some emergency Indian shopping and this place was located en route to my home. Everything is really well labeled and nicely stocked and the folks running the store were super friendly! I also saw a lot of veggies that I hadn't seen in the other stores (like raw jackfruit) and they also had a great selection of Indian sweets and fresh snacks like Samosas and Dhokla too! In fact the place doesn't even appear to have customers, so perhaps whoever's operating it has actually chosen to set up shop near the University of Mississippi Campus for other purposes?
