If you've been looking for a Tiki bar during your trip to Carlovy Vary, look no further!…read more It attracted my attention during my visit of Karlovy Vary as a place that looked like it could be into Tiki coctails, so when at the end of the evening I had an opportunity to stop there with some extended family, I absolutely jumped on the opportunity. And oh boy was I not disappointed. While the decoration is not on the level of pioneers of the Tiki revival, the bar fends off for itself pretty well and boasts a massive wall of various alcohols, liquors and infusions as it's bar - that is put to good use in its menu. In addition to several expected classics and a couple of local riffs on different Tiki themes, they also have a special Karlovy Vary blend - served in a typical mineral water drinking cup and based almost entirely on different Becherovkas. While I got that one as a meme, it actually was surprisingly delicious - a pity the recipe will be kept secret by that spot for a while! The namesake cocktail of the Bar (Barracuda: rum, galliano, ananas and lemon juices, prosecco) was quite great as well - I was really not disappointed. With all of that, the price remains still reasonable (by western standards), so my final take is that it's a pretty amazing spot!

They have a decent beer selection and I was happy to try some new brews that I hadn't had in other places. The food was good. We had beef which was well cooked and very tasty. The chips with garlic sauce were also surprisingly tasty. The sausage dish was also really good. I expected larger sausages, but with that said, while not a huge dish, the quality was superb. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Ultimately, the restaurant is pretty good. Prices are slightly higher than what I would expect, but Karlovy Vary is a touristy place. For a tourist hot spot, the prices are fair.

I order chicken Cesar salad with my beer , after long time i got my salad but it was the shock even I didn't touch it I smelled something strange in the salad , like a dirty fish inside, i asked the not kind waiter with the black hair to change for me the salad for something else , in the end after i finish I asked for the bill , and this waiter asked to paid 385 kč for salad and beer but she included the dirty fishy salad the i bring it back !! She told me we are sorry its not our problem that you didn't like !! For me it was shock to talk with clients in this way specially when she know me that I don't care on the money !! The location in right on one of the main colonnades so it's well connected. The space is a good size, has an upstairs and counter spots, plenty of outlets to keep connected as well as free wifi. If wifi is your only reason to go here though beware- it isn't very strong you may have to ask for it to be reset. Otherwise a nice, clean, comfy spot in the direct center to experience some awesome coffee grinds and homemade treats.
