I am not familiar with his work and believe this may be the first piece I've seen of his but he did a great job. Good uses of color and I'm a sucker for positive messages in public art. It does not get much more positive then "we rise by lifting others". Overall cool addition to a Neighborhood and area that has a rapidly growing public art scene. I'd like to see more work from this artist maybe he can add more murals to this area and around the city.

Me and my friend and fellow yelper Jeremy J was actually on our way for a planned day of trying out some spots in the Shelby park neighborhood and the Nulu neighborhoods and we drove by this one completely on accident. Wasn't on our list of things to check out. So we pulled over and took some photographs. Looks like it consists of kids playing and has the Shelby park name on it. I did not see an artist name or anything but the artists did a nice job. Overall cool and accidental find on our fun filled afternoon. Glad we came across it so we can share with the rest of the yelp community.

The mural is part of a citywide art intuitive called alley gallery where local artist paint murals on exterior doors throughout the city of Lousiville. This mural features jockeys riding race horses in what appears to be a tightly ran horse race. There are a few alley gallery renderings Similar to This. But in a city known for the Kentucky derby and a rich horse racing history it makes sense. Overall it's always fun to discover murals that are part of the alley gallery initiative. Such a cool and fun way to spread public art and giving local artist a chance to shine.

This one is on a door blocked by a garbage can so you do the best you can to get back there and take a picture as best you can and to see it but it's a pretty cool looking one and of course focuses on our horses and how we're known for horse racing.

This mural by local artist Chris Chappell features bright colors along with some human faces and animals such as giraffes and iguanas and other critters. Very large and well done mural. Overall this is a great mural and a Perfect fit for an art shop as there is absolutely a ton of artistic creativity in this mural. Great job by the artist.

Art cartel has lots of cool and exotic looking murals across the city. This specific one is more scaled back but still is very nice and provides a sign of unity. Overall a nice addition to the public art scene in that area and for the city of Louisvilel. Real easy to spot as it is of decent size.
