Date nights are every Friday night from 5:30 to 10 PM. If you are not a member of Gymcats it is $30 for the first child and 20 for the second child. However if you pay the $50 registration fee that is good for one year it brings the price down to $20 for the first child and $10 for each subsequent child. Date night also includes pizza and a movie for the kids. My kids enjoyed getting to play on the equipment during date night. Gymcats also has 3 different open gym times on Fridays. The preschool open gym is from noon to 115. And for the other kids open gym is from 4:30-6:30pm and another from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. They don't give refunds but you can transfer credit. So if your child decides they don't want to take class/ go to date night, and you have already paid for it you can use the unused credit towards a different activity.

However, I went in last week for an open gym and the wait was terrible. The lady who was helping check in seemed to struggle. I waited in line for 20mins with my kids and ended up coming back home without letting my kids play. A couple teenagers in front of me seemed frustrated too as they couldn't find the website to sign the wavier and make separate payments with cash and credit card. I hope they will improve it and have more knowledgeable staffs on a busy Friday night.

Sheila, the owner, is super friendly and personable. She is not only an instructor herself and jumps in the pool herself when needed, but she also makes sure that your children are in the correct swim level before they start their lessons. Sheila is not only personable, but she replies to your email within a day, and communicates effectively and consistently. She sends out the weekly schedule the weekend before so you know the swim schedule and with which instructor. We have had Abi (a swim instructor) for years and she's super good with our younger ones. She is encouraging and my children really enjoy being taught by her. We have had Nicole and AnneMarie as instructors (for level 4/5) and they are also efficient!

I had no idea how classes work and instead of explaining it nicely for a newbie she was very rude in her explanation, however the price is great so I ignored it. My son attended classes for 3 weeks and the swim instructors are so great and so cute with the kids! We loved every teacher we had. Which is what kept me going back for more lessons. I liked to sit close and listen to the instructors so I can continue to work with him on our own time. I was very pregnant and hot (it gets hot in there if you aren't swimming) so I was standing by the door catching a breeze and staying close so I can listen to what they are teaching and Sheila tells me "go sit down and quit hovering" honestly that was the last straw. That was luckily his last lesion of the week and was the last lesson I will ever sign him up for at the swimmin hole. I hope Sheila reads this review and changes her attitude.

I have been wanting to get into something like Yoga for a while now. Well recently I had an injury…read moreat work and Yoga was suggested to me for something that may help. I had seen the advertisement Mindpose had where you could get 14 days for $14 and I decided to give it a go. I signed up and went later that night. My first class was absolutely amazing. The instructor was so welcoming and so kind to me. The second class was not as great--I have found that every instructor sometimes has different teaching styles and also different ideas of what the class consists of. With this specific class, we were doing like a two minute plank in a 98 degree room. Whew. I tried another class that was a lot more about meditation. It was interesting but probably my least favorite just because of the several minutes that she had us holding our necks in a position I couldn't do too well because of the injury I still currently have. I understand that we are not being forced to do every move but there is a lot of pressure to follow along and even more when there is not an alternative option being given. We are supposed to be guided and I don't really want to lay there and look like a lazy bones just because I am restricted from doing a certain pose. I loved a bit more of the meditation and I like when they seem to "guide our spirit" by talking to us about life stuff too (like dedicating the class to someone in mind, releasing negative energy). I really love the music and the atmosphere that Mindpose provides for people. The instructors have all been kind and I love the towel we get after. I wish there was a bit more consistency, even the temperature varies 10 degrees and seems a bit unpredictable. The location is very convenient and I enjoy the dim lighting a lot.

Nothing but fond memories here. I've had some great moments here at De Jong--the main arts…read moreperformance space on BYU's campus. I didn't go to school at BYU, but I did, over the years, see quite a few performances. I was back just a few months ago, and although it wasn't an artsy performance (it was a lecture) each step down those wings was trip down memory lane. It's still in about the same condition--so I imagine it's been remodeled at least once or twice. It's not a massive space, but it's big enough that you feel like you're really going to see a show. And the big doors are well-marked so you'll be sure to find the right row and right seat. The arts lift you up. I leave De Jong and I want to sprint. To run with the energy I feel from almost holding hands with poetry, and meaning, and all the promise of a night at the theater!

They are not a school, but rather a place where your student can put into practice the skills they are learning elsewhere. However, they will still learn a ton from the hands-on experience! My middle school student has been participating in one of the bands for several months and has found the group to be highly supportive and is gaining confidence in his performing ability. As a non-musical person, I enjoy coming to the shows to support the bands. They are all very good and I'm surprised at the talent and skills of such young people.

We were 12 to solve all the puzzles and to get out of the room, which was way too many people. I would strongly recommend booking the whole room for yourself. We had fun because we were together but it just feels like they try to put as many groups/people as possible in this truck/day. And gosh.. The puzzles were interesting, though our group of 10 people solved everything in just over 30 minutes (for a 45 minute room designed for 12 people). We thought it would be a fun addition to the evening and it was! We had over 200 people (80% were under 18) and did the 2 station set up. Ty did a great job managing both stations, wait times were not an issue, and everone had a fun time! It was so much fun seeing what the players were doing on the tv sets and hearing their reactions as they played. Would definitely recommend them for an event.
