I came to Karve wanting to be more toned, become strong but not bulky, get better posture, and to have a workout that challenges me without being high-impact or rough on my joints. All of those wishes have come true with Karve, and I have lost extra weight as well. It has also significantly increased my core strength-- it shows in the way I do other exercises, my posture, and how my clothes now fit better. Every day is a little bit different and each instructor has their own teaching style, so the workouts are never repetitive. They seemed a little distracted, but were very nice. It was my first time at this particular studio, but I have been to several other yoga studios in the past and while this one did have an upscale air to it, it also felt somewhat impersonal. The classes were packed with enthusiastic participants, but to the point where it made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the experience. The Kundalini class was super interesting and the instructor seemed knowledgeable. The gym is very clean and nice. I was just missing that cozy, intimate feeling that I've come to expect from really nice gyms/studios. We also got smoothies at the cafe upstairs and they were both excellent and the barista was super cute and accommodating!

I am not in shape - at all but the ad showed women who look like me doing it so I thought - why not - I will give it a try. To my utter surprise I could do almost everything during the workout. Some exercises needed modifications and the instructor was so kind and helpful that I didn't feel weird asking for help or an alternative to what we were doing. Since then I have been to at least a dozen classes with various instructors and I have yet to have a negative experience. The atmosphere is calm and supportive. The employees are friendly and genuinely care about the people coming in. I met the owners/managers and they were passionate about the philosophy behind Pilates and I was inspired by that on the first day. The cost is a little high depending on your budget, but it is also a worthwhile experience and they offer different packages and also an individual class price if you don't want to do a membership bundle. Highly recommended - especially if you are new to or getting back into fitness. All bodies are welcome and you will feel accepted.

I could ramble for days but in all honesty, it's very simple as to why anyone would and should want to go, each member of the Pilates Revolution & Fitness team cares about each person who walks through the door. It was self check in and the instructor was talking to someone else when I got settled. But nothing after class either. So great place to slip in and out of. I did like they had deodorant and dry shampoo. They also have showers but bring a towel or I did see some up front you can probably rent. The other thing is the cold towels smelled like chlorine, would be nice if they used some essential oils. I'd return though.
