This place was an absolute treasure trove of beautiful clothing and accessories. Y'all, this is not your average "Talbot's from the 90's" stock that many "vintage" stores contain (and yes I understand that 90's qualifies as vintage these days!) This is the place to go for a show-stopping special occasion dress from the 1940s, with intact jeweled buttons and a peplum detail at the waist. Or a flowing silk robe from the 1920s with a bold print of fans and florals. Or a beautifully carved sweater clip to accompany the fur-collared cashmere from 1950s. You get the picture! Now, this shop will have a higher price point than your average dig-through-the-rack vintage, because literally every piece is a gem. That said, the pricing is incredibly fair for what you are purchasing! I will treasure the pieces I bought from my visit last weekend, and can't wait to return! I also want to add that the shop employee Kim was just top notch! She was knowledgeable of each item and a joy to talk to. This place is a MUST VISIT for any vintage lover!!

As I was on my way to pick it up Friday evening, I called the store and no one answered. The lady called me back literally 1 min later apologizing for not answering . I told her I had a pick up order and she offered to bring it out to my car! It def helped because I had my son in the car ! She was so nice, so professional and it def makes me want to come back to the store in Gretna! Thank you so much for your AMAZING customer service, it made my day a little bit easier :)

The newest Fleurty Girl shop is in Old Gretna and I couldn't be more excited! After the madness of Gretna Fest died down, I was able to stop in and see FG's newest home. It's perfect- an old house that has been converted into a quaint little shop where you can find New Orleans themed t shirts and gifts. I have been a Fleurty fan for years and it's been so exciting watching this little company expand from a t shirt shop to a full blown "must" for any New Orleans gift giver. On the day I was here, I was greeted with a friendly "Hello!" from the woman working and I was eager to look around and see exactly what this shop had to offer. FG-OG is a bit smaller than the other shops I've been in, but they pack a lot into a smaller space. They sell much more than just shirts- they also have a variety of jewelry, accessories, house decor and a lot of other fun things that you are sure to like. On this day, I found a pair of earrings that will be perfect to wear when watching a Saints game. I also saw a few t shirts that will definitely be going on my Christmas list. Oh yeah...if you want to buy me something, a Fleurty Girl gift card will do nicely. I'm so happy that Fleurty Girl has found a home on the Westbank and I can't wait to make this place one of my regular shopping stops.

They carry a bunch of local artists/crafters and have a great selection of souveniers/NOLA themed gifts. The folks who work in the shop are always friendly and helpful. I was here a couple of months ago to pick up MG themed signs so my Mom could have a virtual parade in her front yard for Yardi Gras. I had ordered online so pickup was easy. Staff was wearing masks; customers were required to wear masks too. Hand sanitizer was available. Great experience all the way around.

The business owner, presumably, was stationed at the front of the store. The gentleman proceeded to stare us down for the entire time we shopped in the store, so much so that both my partner and I were made to feel quite unwelcome.
