If you have a trip planned then opt for it when you reach your 60 day reservation mark for dining. It is listed under "enchanting extra". It is offered a few times each morning and it does sell out fast. That being said I grabbed this tour the first day we were eligible and believe me this is truly the best tour in the Magic Kingdom. Allow a full 5 hours for this tour. You meet at Main Street cinema, preorder your prepaid lunch (part of your tour cost) at Pecos Bill and meet your tour guide. Our tour guide was a charming lady named Liza who gave us portable headsets to hear her better. She came around and adjusted them if you needed help. We started down Main St, looked up at the names on the storefront windows and learned the history about them. Walt's name is there too! You need to look above the ice cream store after you turn the corner and you will see it. They have plenty of pseudonyms there to disguise the fact that Walt Disney was the real sponsor. After that we headed to Adventureland where we got a behind the scenes ride of the Jungle cruise. It was great looking at it from a different perspective. We toured Frontierland and Liberty Square and then sat down 2 1/2 later at Pecos Bill for our lunch. We had a special room reserved for us and our floor was by our nametags. They even gave us a souvenir keepsake, A Disney Keypin to go with my name pin. Please note that we ate at around 10:30. If planning to eat breakfast that day I would suggest to go light since lunch was so early. We then got priority access to ride the haunted mansion and learn more about the famous stretch rooms. During our visit we went "backstage" to where only cast members are permitted both on the main floor and of course finally visited the utilitor system. We are committed to secrecy on this part of the tour but I will tell you that you will learn a lot and it is amazing with all the things we saw. We spent a good 45 minutes in the utilitor and walked around it. Liza answered any questions we had and made sure we stood in shady areas to combat the oppressive heat of the sun. When the tour was over we were surprised to learn this was her first tour by other tour guides and was awarded her D pin which she could now display. Needless to say we were all very happy for her. This tour is for persons over 16 who want to know more about the Magic Kingdom. No two tours are like. This tour differed in many ways from the tour I took years ago and it was so fascinating and informative. Highly recommend this tour for any who wish to spend their day learning about the Magic Kingdom.

Guilty pleasure! Riding the monorail was so much fun as a kid and it will always be the same…read morefeeling as an adult. My family was visiting the Magic Kingdom and wanted to stop by here first. Uber was easily about to take us to the front door for pick up and drop off. The monorail is easy to find from the lobby - a quick walk or elevator upstairs and a small walk to the station. Employees are there to monitor traffic and we had no issue with their being space to ride. Each time we were riding we also had seats.

The Magic Kingdom Monorail Station is located just outside the entrance to Magic Kingdom. You can't miss it. I think the 12 Mark VI (Mk6) monorail trains look cool. They're sort of retro-futuristic, at least for the time they were rolled out (1989-1991). Interesting Fact: While they look identical, Monorail Peach (which joined the fleet in 2011) has a unique history. It was constructed using the undamaged center cars from the retired Pink and Purple trains following an accident in 2009, with two brand-new cabs built to finish it off. Because it was "reborn" from the parts of two other trains, many Disney fans have nicknamed it the "Phoenix" train. If you want to see if you're on the "Phoenix," look for the peach-colored stripe. As of April 2024, it also features new black deltas (the small triangular accents on the stripe) and a completely refurbished interior with updated black flooring and fresh seat padding. It's one of the sharpest-looking trains in the 2026 fleet. In general, I found the trains to be on time, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The stations were well-marked, and the guest flow was handled efficiently by staff. Finally, the Cast Members who operated the trains and manned the stations were polite and courteous. The Pilots even wave at you as the trains enter the stations. All of this is what you expect from Disney (high standards). Tip: If you're heading to EPCOT, try to get a window seat. The EPCOT line does a full loop around Spaceship Earth and the World Celebration area before pulling into the station. It's a nice elevated view of the park's new gardens and architecture that were completed in 2024.

I had a marvelous time taking my family to Disney. Parking was easy and simple. Tram picked us up…read moreimmediately after parking in the hooks designated area. They allowed us to park in the first row since my mom left her placard for handicap. Afterwards the tram took us to the monorail drop off. Then we walked hand and hand until we got up top. They provided us with a wheelchair to assist with my mom. I definitely got a workout in. We enjoyed our entire time. They were out of ecv and we join the waitlist. It was one available within 4 hours eventhough we were 24th in line. The chicken sandwich at the launching pad was fresh and delicious. Dinner we ate at the crystal palace with pooh and his friendly characters. The food was really good. I recommend for sure. See you soon disney. Perks of being a AP holder you get discounts at the crystal palace currently.

The bus system transportation, boat transportation, monorail…read moretransportation, and other on site Disney World provided transportation options are great opportunities to get around the park without having to deal with driving. It's great to go point to point with no worries about parking, etc. The buses are air-conditioned, the boats have air-conditioned areas on the inside and the monorails have air conditioning. Fun and cool ways to travel - the kids see them as a ride... And they are! And not to forget, there's also the skyliner which has been added to Disney in the last few years. It's not air conditioned, but it has slatted vents at the top of the car that offer good air movement as the car sails through the air.

Sat in rain at the station waiting for my bus for over an hour. Saw at least three different busses…read moreover that time with my resort name on it drive right by without stopping. Called the office multiple times with no help at all. We did end up talking to one of the supervisors, James. He did do a good job helping us. He helped us get a bus to take us personally back to our resort. Which made the situation much better. He was the only person to truly help us.

I can still remember in great detail the first time I saw the monorail going through the Contemporary Resort. I'm giving my age away here, but this was before Epcot. Yes, Magic Kingdom was the only Park at the time. I've been in awe since, and seeing that is what actually began my obsession with Disney. Not the Castle or the Mouse. Nope, it was the monorail making its way through this resort. So now, over 40 years later, this is my special place. I come and sit here quite often (usually at night) to watch the monorail, people watch, and enjoy the views. The views are breathtaking, especially at night as you'll be able to see all the lights - Space Mountain, Eiffel Tower at Epcot, the buildings at the Boardwalk - just to name a few. I can and have literally sat here for hours with my hubby just relaxing and taking it all in. This monorail is like the other monorails on the "resort loop". It's generally not that busy unless it's end of night at Park close. Everyone is trying to leave MK at that time and get back to their resorts or TTC and this thing becomes equivalent to being packed into a sardine can. Just as smelly too because at this time of night, everyone has been in the 100 degree heat of central Florida with no shade all day. Doesn't that sound inviting? LOL With all that being said, my absolute favorite place the monorail stops!

While traveling down I-4 we decided to look at a few RV Parks that sparked our interest before…read moreattending the Florida State Fair. Caboose Junction RV Resort is a beautiful 55+ themed RV Park and certainly one I would consider a stay at. Unfortunately for us this is a long term RV Resort only that requires a minimum stay of 6 months (maybe that will change at some point) being we are residents of Florida a long term stay so close to home doesn't make sense for us but it definitely would be a place we would consider for a week or two while in the area. The sites are beautiful and clean and are spaced to provide plenty of privacy, the property is filled with rail cars and other train related items set in almost a museum like setting (very cool). We will continue to monitor this park to see if things change in the future it seems to be a real gem...

What a wonderful tour!…read more The Orlando Lake Tour offers a relaxing 75-minute journey through the stunning Butler Chain of Lakes. You will cruise past beautiful scenery and impressive multi-million-dollar homes aboard a comfortable pontoon boat with sunshades. Captain Steve is both punctual and friendly. He has a lot of knowledge on the local wildlife, flora, and notable past and present residents of the area. All seats require advance booking by phone, and at just $25 per person - it's incredibly reasonable for everything you will see and learn. Be sure to take pictures! The lakefront homes are gorgeous. I really appreciated that the group size was small as it creates a more intimate setting and makes it easier to engage with Captain Steve and ask questions throughout the tour. 5 stars.

Was sort of a bucket list thing to do way down low on the list…read morebecause I grew up around here; even lived about across the street so many years ago but never fared the lakes. Makes for an especially excellent Floridian wildlife tour if you're not from here. You'll see a lot of wildlife ...and ridiculously opulent rich folks homes; swimming pools, movie stars, they always have the best stuff including some the most beautiful lakes in Central Florida. Anyway, when the opportunity presented itself, this was the tour we chose and I'm so very happy we did. Steve's Great. Friendly, helpful, and nice; informative. We really enjoyed ourselves and thank him for the memorable experience. Thanks Steve! We brought waters and recommend you sunscreen yourself up. And FYI, portable toilets are near the ramp and proper restrooms are at the front of the park. One of the locks doesn't work. Surprise, surprise, surprise!!! lol
