I decided on a gun that is great for home defense and for concealed carry. The conversation then moves towards ammunition and accessories which they were also very helpful with. However, before I could purchase a firearm, I had to fill out a form online which is for a background check. Sometimes you get clearance pretty quickly within a matter of minutes, but in some cases, such as mine, I had to wait at least a day or more. Nonetheless, I was still able to purchase it and pick it up later. So whether you are a gun enthusiast or a novice like myself, they can walk you through whatever your needs are. I was looking for a Glock 20 and after contacting the corporate office they let me know that the Pflugerville location had several Glock 20 V MOS models in stock. I went over a short easy drive from where I live and walked in excitedly. I was not disappointed, the store is the main hub for peace and security officers to get all their gear outfitted! They also have plenty for the civilian owner as well! I checked in at the front desk and they told me where to go for the firearms purchase area. Being a weekday there was no waiting. I have heard the place gets busy and sometimes you have to take a number for your turn to be helped. They had three experts ready to help. I walked right up and shared what I was looking for and that I had a GSSF voucher to use. They were more than helpful and while they went back to get the Glock positioned me on their computer for filling out the paperwork required. Their system was intuitive and quick to fill out. By the time they returned I was done. As he was ringing me up I noticed the price I was quoted by corporate was less than they quoted me at the store. The expert explained that GT Distributors charged more for GSSF member vouchers than for their Blue Label buyers (peace and security officers). The savings was still well below retail and I respected their decision to honor those thst keep us safe on the daily! While I was being rung up I went and looked at the magazine section and found their prices were better than what I found elsewhere and even spot on with the lowest prices I had researched online! I snapped the last two mags they had for my firearm. Overall I had a great experience, my expert was professional, knowledgeable and friendly! If I was not moving out of state soon I would be planning on using my benefits there next year! If you want clear, friendly, no-nonsense, professional information on all things firearms I cannot recommend GT Distributors - Pflugerville enough! Catering to our boys in blue and other first responders they still are super helpful, welcoming and patient with the civilian operator! As it was a firearm facility I did not take any pictures. At noon I got a notification from UPS saying it was delivered. I showed up at 4:30, and the guy working seemed to not know anything about it. He said it may have been dropped off next door, and he was going to go check. Came right back and said nobody was there, and to call in an hour. We went to lunch across the street, and came back to the shop at 5:30. The doors were closed and locked, with nobody in the shop (even though they supposedly close at 6). I called the number on the business card I had received earlier and it was the shop owner. He said he had just checked next door, and nobody was there, and to call him back on Monday. He didn't realize I was back at his shop, so I took it upon myself to check next door to see if anybody was there. Sure enough, there were a few people there.....and my rifle was sitting right at the front of their business in the box. I called Sam back and told him people were in the building, and he said he'd be right there. Next thing ya know, he comes walking out of the bar that's on the corner of the block he works on. He couldn't stick around to take care of a customer (within business hours) that he had made an appointment with because he was at a bar?? Thanks, but no thanks. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

So after trying a gunsmith in south Austin two times, asked a shooting buddy if he knew anyone. He turn me on to Chaz and I'm going to bring all my business his way. He started working on the rifle the moment I arrived and when he realized it would require a little more work, he said he would have it back to me in a few days. Well, two days later he said come pick it up. I've never gotten such prompt service. The rifle looks like new...it probably is....Chaz says that maybe three rounds have been through it.
