While visiting our friends in their bungalow in Priepert we decided to invite them for diner in the…read moreBuffelhof. Despite the positive reviews we where very disappointed. The red whine was way to cold, the steak was dry and tasted like ordinary aldi steak. The salad was just a plate of green leaves with a few mozzarella pieces. The last desert was served after everyone was finished, and had choclat ice in stead of vanilla. Finally i could not pay with my dutch bank card or even my visa card. There whee a few other things, such as te time it took before we where served, or the knives and forks, which we had to distribute ourselves and the espresso, which is just ordinary coffee. Next time we will look for another restaurant.

So far best restaurant I had a meal in Rügen. Staff was really professional, meal according to…read morequality/price ratio was good. They could cook medium-rare steak which is not so easy to do and many (even upscale) restaurants are failing. It is belonging to Travel Charme group and I am staying in their hotel. So far I am quite convinced about both hotel and the restaurant. If you would like to spend some money on a good steak, this is definitely the place.

Hatte vor einem Jahr schon eine Bewertung geschrieben und die hohen Preise und auch die Qualität beklagt. Dieses Jahr im September hatten wir einen neuen Besuch dort und es war ähnlich schlecht. Hoch gelobtes und angepriesenes Steak war sehr fest und keineswegs zart und saftig, das Schweinefilet musste sogar zurück gegeben werden, da es kaum zu schneiden war, so fest. Der Espresso danach war dann passend nur dünner Kaffee. Also insgesamt kein Grund, dort noch einmal zu speisen. Schade, denn das Ambiente ist eigentlich schön. read more
