We ended up getting a fish in salt and we were asked to come over to the showcase and choose the fish. We waited for around 20-30 minutes so I recommend getting a starter if you're really hungry. One thing I can say is the results were worth the wait. 3 waiters brought a huge plate on top of which there was a dish encased in a salt container. They carefully broke the salt container and removed the fish meat from it onto a plate. It was delicious, to say the least. Really moist, a bit salty and the souces that came with it were great. Pro tip: don't give cats around there a look! They will come down to your table and stare at you pitifully expecting you to give them some bits of your fish.

We returned to the table and began looking at the menu for additional items to order. FERHAT indicated the fish and octopus we ordered would be more than enough and suggested a shrimp in butter and garlic sauce appetizer. The fish was prepared grilled into steak style pieces. The octopus was super tender, and the shrimps were delicious. Every one of FERHAT'S suggestions were perfect. And, he was correct, we ordered plenty of food. The upside is the view by the water was utterly breathtaking. We hung around a bit longer after dinner just to see the sun setting, and it was gorgeous. It is a great place for photo-taking and definitely the highlight of our dinner. However, if you are looking for some good food, I may want to consider elsewhere. The restaurant did look inviting and had plentiful seating, but was rather empty that night. We sat right by the edge and had the most perfect view, with much wait staff surrounding our area. I see the machine asking if I wanted to pay in Lira or USD. As a smart traveler, I know to pay the bill in local currency and let my bank do the transaction. Well in lightning speed he presses in USD. This includes a bad exchange rate, commission, and a transaction fee to be added on. I told him that I wanted to pay in Lira but he lied and said that it automatically converts to USD. Tourists are targets.
