Dr Janelle was exceptionally professional, and knew exactly how to proceed. She conducted a comprehensive history and physical examination, and we discussed each item thoroughly. It was obvious that she really cared about me as a patient, and wanted to be sure I was healthy. Many pilots are now opting for Basic Med rather than seeing an AME for their regular physical examinations required for flying. He even wrote on order for pet scan " suspected bone cancer." Luckily, I had an appointment that same week with my family doctor, who did additional x-rays on both knees, and no cancer was found. It was a very stressful time for me. It seems unprofessional to say cancer without firm proof. I don't feel comfortable going back to this business.

Even the surgery center in Orange City, FL flowed very well. Everything is ran so well and you know what to expect and you must follow what they ask of you. I went home the same day after my surgery which I preferred. I had absolutely no complications and went from 245 to currently 168. I exercise and want to be toned at this point. Best decision for me and no regrets and if I ever need their advice I can count of them forever such as food, mental health, exercise tips, and all around health. They also give nutrition classes for before and after your surgery. Best care I've ever had in a medical facility. Can't say enough good things about all the staff there. If that's what you need, this is probably is a great place. I needed medical weight loss, and ended up at East Coast Bariatrics. What a mistake! The ARNP you meet with is uncaring. She will prescribe the meds and then you won't be able to get into their schedule for weeks and weeks, meaning you'll be without the medicine and will need to start all over once you finally get an appointment. Do they care? NO! Then when you have your appointment, they screw up the prescription and don't fix it for days and days. My suggestion: if you need medical weight loss, go somewhere else. Anywhere else, but not East Coast Bariatrics!
