I honestly didn't know about this alterations place in Cypress, I always went to my previous place. Until they started to go down in quality. I did a quick search and behold a place that's 6 minutes from my house. I started to get excited. My mother needed a zipper replaced in a jacket. She could do it herself but she's at an age where she just doesn't feel like doing anymore sewing. She did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend getting any of your alterations done here. I would give the business 10 stars if I could--a small local business owned by an older Asian couple who are kind and responsive. Every time I brought my clothes to get altered, it was done professionally. There was even a couple of times where I have taken my pants home, and it just didn't feel right; I called in the morning, and they said to bring it back, and we will fix it without hesitation. The price for the quality of the work is unprecedented. For example, I had taken a suit to get altered last Wednesday for the gala this Friday. The suit required to be taken in, and the pants slimmed down and waistline taken in. The suit was ready within less than a week and done perfectly. The price to get it done for all the changes was only 60 dollars... yes, $60. I had called for a quote from another place closer to home; the work would cost me $150+ and would have taken 3 weeks to finish. One thing I have to mention is their communication is not so clear, but if you take your time speaking with them and pass that barrier, you'll get some of the best work done to your clothing. Hadn't been back to see Tuyet Phan (AKA "Phan," pronounced Fan) in a while. Maybe 2019. Hadn't really needed to get anything tailored lately. However, I always recommend folks go see her. Recently, I needed three suits tailored. The first thing I noticed was that her hours changed. She is now open Mon-Fri 10AM - 5PM and Saturday 10AM - 3PM. Beyond that, nothing else has changed. Phan is still as welcoming as ever. The attention she gives to each and every customer is second to none. The fact that I've gone to Phan year after year since 2013 and recommend her to everyone who ever asks me for a tailor, speaks to the quality of her and her husband's work. The prices are extremely reasonable and I'm fully convinced there is nothing Phan and her husband can't do. Small businesses like this are the life blood of our community. This is a great place to do business. The business is run by an older Asian couple. They take extreme pride in their work and cleanliness of the store. I recently had a pet bed made and they did fabulous work. I brought the material and they sewed it to specifications of the cushion. During the first fitting, the lady was very sweet and offered her ideas- I got the chest area altered, hemmed, and a bustle created.
