I walked into this store a year ago, and it is now practically my home away from home. I love the space; the location is perfect, and the highly professional employees make me feel at home. I go to BR for my same-day outfits, trusting that they will have something available for me. The selections are great; I believe they could use more sizes; however, I have never needed something so badly that I could not get it from this location. I cannot name any specific members because they are all equally supportive and professional. The jewelry selection is not the best, but they tend to go well with various outfits; I like to call them occasion outfits. read more

Beautiful location up against the glass wall entry of the Riverpark Square Mall, everything perfectly in its place, gorgeous, very helpful representatives at your service. Lots of different styles of jeans and other apparel, great easily accessible dressing rooms, etc. But . . . maybe its just me, people honestly? $120.00 for a pair of jeans. Are they indestructible, do they come with a life long warranty? Even if I had endless, disposable income I just can not pay that amount of money for jeans. I guess that is why I had never been in that store. Although, I must add years ago, I believe at this same location my husband needed a suit. He happened into this store seeing a clearance rack was able to get a suit coat and slacks for a very reasonable price. read more

Store is well merchandised and adequately staffed but be prepared for the hard-sell in everything. This season's clothing is very nice. I was asked four times in literally five minutes if I wanted to open a Banana credit card. What part of no, no, no, no is hard to understand? I just wanted to run from this location...I could not get out of this store fast enough. I realize these are unprecedented times and retail has always used people's bad credit and poor financial decisions to their benefit and to drive revenue and profitability, but if you improved the quality of your products and/or lowered your retail prices, that could drive sales and profitability without attacking customers. I know management will be proud of this review because all they care is that the associates pushed the credit card applications. Eventually, they will sucker someone into saving 20% and destroying their credit just to save a couple bucks on their first purchase. Pushy, insincere sales associates..."What's your name again?" I have never been in this store in my life! They (as in a couple associates) stand outside of the fitting room and claim they want to see everything you try on. Really...if I want your opinion I will ask you!! The sizes run very large at Banana Republic. Check the outlet online or in person for better prices. read more

Bought a Luxury-Touch white polo on 07/25/2022. Nice shirt, was marked $55. After arriving back home in Post Falls,I discovered they had charged me $60. I called the store and explained what happened,and the clerk verified that all the shirts were marked $55. The clerk told me they could not correct it on my credit card over the phone and would have to return to the store. Far greater than $5 in gas plus the time. Watch them, they are sneaky. Best to always check your receipt before leaving this store, especially if you are from out of town. read more

Banana republic from a distance appears to be quality clothing, supposedly Gaps more sophisticated "older sibling"...and you can find some really beautiful things here especially leather.however the staff seems too have too much on their table, especially during their sales. I dont really understand why anyone would but there on one of the off days they aren't running a sale and i think they purposely overcharge so the prices can appear deeply discounted during the sale which is very manipulative. Most of the items are very boring and don't use very good material, made in China. Some items will be advertised in a misleading way i.e. the large sign will claim a sweater is "italian wool" but if you inspect the label its part italian wool but mostly not. These manipulative practices are what really made me give them a low rating. However, like i said they have sales all the time and often times you will find a sale on sale items, this is the time to shop here, you'll be paying a practical price ... read more

I'm a regular at Banana Republic and was impressed with the one at the River Park Sq. Mall. The store has a large selection and the service was great. The gal offered to steam my satin shirt even though I bought it on sale for like 20 bucks. While I was roaming a different gal asked me how I was doing. I'm definitely a fan of this location. read more

This review is specifically about the customer service at this Banana Republic location, not about the company in general. I have bought items and returned items to this store multiple times, and every time the salespeople have been very helpful when asking if I needed help with finding an item or getting a dressing room, but when I go to return an item or check-out, they seem like they could care less if I'm there. One time I was purchasing an item (had to wait for a couple minutes for someone to help me - I was the only one in line), and when the person finally came to help me with my purchase, he started ringing me up, and then as soon as the phone rang, he answered and made me wait while he helped the person on the phone, rather than asking them to hold. They were on the phone for more than 5 minutes with the other person, while he was still in the middle of finishing my check-out process, so I had to wait. read more
