She is also very accommodating to schedules , which is amazing when you try to balance a new life with a newborn/ toddler. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is. I also think her prices are very fair, as she does amazing work and has a lot of props to choose from and a lot of high end equipment. I have seen some places where they like you to bring items you wish to have in the photos but she has everything you would ever need. Even offering adorable outfits for my little one for her first birthday photoshoot. She is also so kind and fun to talk to. I have never felt rushed out the door. Her photos take around 2+ weeks to get back but it is worth the wait and also is not that long of a wait time from other places I have used for other needs. 2 weeks is very quick in my opinion. I will continue to go to her as I feel she makes my little one and I feel so comfortable while seamlessly making us feel like the number one priority during every session I have done with her. This is my third, and definitely not my last! Thank you Stephanie!!!

Even with a compressed timeline, he took the time to understand the heart behind the brand and what we were trying to communicate. He understood the assignment and delivered. From the first conversation through post-production, the experience felt intentional and white-glove. I'm very type-A and strategic by nature, and Chad balanced that beautifully with his creative perspective. He never made the process feel rushed or stressful, and my clients genuinely enjoyed working with him. It's rare to find someone who cares equally about the final product and the client experience. Chad does both exceptionally well. He captured the images and behind-the-scenes woodshop footage we needed to tell their story and connect with their audience. Getting clients comfortable on camera is not always easy, but he created an environment that made it feel natural and effortless. If you are looking for a photographer or videographer who combines professionalism, creativity, and care, I highly recommend Chad Swinford Photography.

Despite my non-love of having a camera in my face (aging is a b*tch, isn't it?) she remained infectiously positive and encouraging. Esther said from the get-go, we'd be there til there were some pics I liked and despite my initial apprehensions, there were so many awesome photos that I had trouble deciding which to go with. If you are in the market for a head shot, portrait, online profile picture, professional or dating profile pic or just want to splurge on a fashion shoot, it'd be hard to beat Esther!

Some quick googling and yelping led me to Esther Boston... and am I ever glad it did! After massive amounts of emails back and forth, figuring out schedule, Esther babysitting my indecisiveness, we met at Studio B-- Esther, NaShara (who did my makeup) and I. From the very get go, they were relaxed, calm, and (more than anything else) competent. They made my issues seem insignificant, my worries seem trivial, my obnoxious need to ask constant questions seem an opportunity. And... they were genuine. Also, did I mention competent? Esther knew what was going to turn out well, what wasn't, and she wasn't afraid to use Gigs and gigs of memory on my photos. I remember school photos, and graduation photos... and this experience was nothing like that. This was one where *I* was the focus, and Esther the magician off to the side working her magic. Plus... the photos turned out great. :-) I'm actually looking for an excuse to use her again....

Every bride pictures their wedding day as one of the most beautiful, important and historic days of…read moretheir entire life. Getting all dolled up in a beautiful white dress (or perhaps ivory, hey-o!), seeing your groom at the end of the aisle, chowing down on wedding cake and dancing the night away are some of the most pivotal moments. One thing that brides really count on is having lovely and charming photos to capture their big day. Think about wedding photography in this context: how will you remember what your flowers looked like after they wilt, what will your lasting memories of the guests be, the amazing dress you wore for that one day, and does the photography do it justice? This is a must must MUST for the vast majority of newlyweds. Two of my good friends were married on October 10, 2014, and my husband and I were honored to be a part of their big day standing next to them at the altar. It was somewhat overcast, but no one seemed to mind since it didn't bring any rain. The setup of the wedding was gorgeous: outdoors, in between two rows of towering Evergreen trees, and a beautiful, hand-made wooden arch with flowers intertwined. No clouds would dare deny the breathtaking scenery of this venue. It was literally picture-perfect. The entire day was literally, ultimately, absolutely picture-perfect. The photos, ironically, were not. I decided to make a list of the honest and factual reasons behind my one-star rating. (Everyone loves lists. It's just a thing.) 1. On average, it usually takes photographers no more than one month to get edited wedding photos back. It took my friend's photographer almost four months. Completely unacceptable, especially for reason numero dos. 2. When my friend went to get the photos, she received them on one CD-rom and also on what seemed to be a large sim card, similar to one for a digital camera. (Not many people have the means to use this sim card, but luckily, they did.) The "photographer" blatantly told my friend that none of the photos were edited due to her "not knowing what style they liked." So not only did they wait an obscene amount of time to receive their photos, they waited an obscene amount of time to receive them completely unedited. They could have received their entire collection of photos the same night of their actual wedding. They were also promised they would receive their photos in high quality digital format, online albums and all photos on CD-roms. She never received online albums and the quality of the photos was below acceptable. (She also stated that she needed the chip back...what do ya know!) Nobody should ever pay any photographer for any kind of photos without proper editing. Most of the photos were blurry, and the rest were unenjoyable and disappointing. 3. One thing the entire wedding party noticed was the photographer leaving directly after their first dance. They will never have "professional" (used cautiously and loosely) photos of their entire wedding party dancing and having a blast, nor will they ever have photos of their beautiful cake-cutting moments. A wedding is not a leave-when-you-want-to event for any member of hired staff -- it is a leave-when-the-wedding-is-over event. 4. While waiting to receive their photos back, they contacted the photographer several times, usually either receiving a short, vague reply or completely being ignored. Communication is seriously lacking here and to ignore your clients is outrageous, especially when they are paying you for your services. 5. There was never any detailed invoice or contract from this photographer. If that isn't unprofessional, I don't know what is. I'm sure some of you may be wondering why I would write this review when it wasn't even my wedding. Here's the deal: My husband and I were married two weeks before our friends (mentioned above) were married, and the first photography company we had hired completely let us down in every way imaginable. Luckily, we had enough time to cancel our contract with them and we hired someone new. After we hired our new photographer, I looked on Yelp to see if there were any negative reviews of the first company we hired: oh yeah, big time. Review after review after review from brides warning other brides to take their business elsewhere, and I thought to myself, "If I had just looked on here beforehand, we could have avoided this mess." And that is why I, the bridesmaid of one of the most beautiful couples I've ever met, am writing this. I do not believe it is fair for anyone to charge people for sub-par services and I want other brides to know where they can find reliable and honest professionals. I appreciate good people looking out for good people, and that is why I advise you to take your business elsewhere. Anyone can take a photo, but only professionals and skilled photographers should be behind the scenes of a wedding.

One of the best decisions we made was finding Stacy and hiring her. We are SO grateful for her work, it made our makeshift elopement real and you will not believe how great the pics turned out. Stacy was recommended to us by a neighbor who knew she did wedding photography and I had not seen her work before but since we desperately wanted someone to photograph our wedding and she was willing to come, wear a mask and maintain a distance so we hired her. OH MY GOD WE ARE SO LUCKY. THESE PICTURES BELONG IN A MAGAZINE. I am not just saying this, she is so good. I have had pictures taken professionally before and it is so awkward, I normally feel so uncomfortable, hate the way I look, my poses, etc. The pictures she captured were flawless. Stacy was professional, prompt, helpful, and boy is she talented - just the best experience possible. It was beyond our expectations. People are still contacting me months after to tell me how great our photos look - like, friends of friends and beyond. People we don't even know are contacting me about these pictures. Hire Stacy! If you are looking at this and would like to talk to me, please ask Stacy for my contact information so I can answer any of your questions, I am happy to connect and give a glowing recommendation. Not only is she is incredibly kind, with a remarkable ability to put people at ease, but she also overdelivers with her images in every way. The way she captured our engagement session and a full weekend of wedding festivities blew us away and is something we'll cherish forever. Even our guests commented on how she really got in the action and captured the dance floor without impacting the vibe, and those are some of our favorite photographs from the night. My parents also could not stop raving about what a delight she was and how painless she made the process of many formal photos. It is true that you will spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than anyone else - and there is not a better person to have by your side than Stacy.
