I have been to this Tinker FCU now twice and have had unpleasant experiences both times. Unlike the…read moreShawnee brach, the place is full of "good ole" boys and gals who are very unprofessional. Each tim I have showed up they are all in the lobby having a gab/gossip fest and make you feel like you have interrupted their work when they are in fact just lollygagging. They are rude and there is a definite racist vibe in the the place. I was told by three Seminole citizens to stay away but I naively believed racism was not the case. It is. When I approached them with a check made out to my Anglo married name and showed an ID with my Hispanic married name, first name the same, I was treated like I was treated like I was trying to scam them or something. I found this insulting. All they had to do was unbiasedly, politely tell me their policy but I got a bunch of attitude and a confrontation. I suggest if you are a minority to stay clear of this branch or if you use it, please call them on their rudeness based on racism. The Shawnee branch is nothing but friendly and professional and they did deposit my check. It was not a problem. Funny how it was at the Seminole location.
