The Lagrein grape is native to the valleys of South Tyrol. It is a nicely balanced tannic red wine. The wine prices are very reasonable. For starters we shared a salad. For main courses I selected the Lamb chop special and my wife ordered the Goulash. Both dishes we wonderfully prepared. For dessert we shared the apple strudel. The service was very attentive throughout our meal. Overall: Excellent. Reservations are highly recommended.

The service throughout the evening was exceptional, welcoming and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. On our first visit, we ordered the dry aged T bone, and it was hands down the best dry aged steak we have ever had. The flavor was absolutely out of this world, rich, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was unforgettable. The real truffle pasta was beautifully executed with deep, earthy truffle flavor that felt authentic and luxurious. The tartare was equally impressive, fresh, well seasoned, and elegantly presented. The desserts were simply stunning. Not only were they delicious in flavor, but the plating and presentation were works of art. Each dessert felt thoughtfully crafted, both visually and gastronomically. This place delivers on every level, atmosphere, service, quality, and presentation. For starters we had the cabbage salad and the stuffed zucchini blossoms. Both were very nicely prepared. For main courses we both had pasta dishes. I had the special spaghetti pasta with truffles and my wife had the special risotto. They were both nice sized portions and were wonderfully prepared. This is where we were introduced to the Aperol Spritz, a popular low-alcohol drink popular in northern italy, made with Aperol (an orange-rhubarb Camparis-like aperitif) and proseco. This is a very specific kind of place... bohemian, quirky, low key... but have an aperol spritz (and a couple of beers) and kick back and watch the locals and tourists drift in and out of the place.
