The staff was overly nice, each and every single one of them. They noticed we were desi ourselves and made our food "desi style", oh boy was it spicy! The chef and the customer sure likes a challenge. The menu has a lot to offer. Great spot for really well don Indian cuisine. Royal Tandoor Platter 5/5 -(chicken banjara, malai chicken tikka, seekh kebab & tandoori monkfish skewered and cooked in a clay oven), great option if you're not too hungry, you can ask for a small bowl of rice to accompany this Lamb biryani 5/5 - a lot of meat, the rice was so fragrant Goan Seafood Chowder 5/5 - hearty, flavorful, highly recommend Hot chocolate fudge cake 4/5 - can't go wrong, exactly what you expect, don't think it is made in-house though

Previously called Cafe Naz, they've dropped the cafe bit as it really wasn't a cafe. This is a full on Indian restaurant with a very relaxed vibe. The menu is extensive but far from expensive. I would say I usually go for the lamb jalfrezi (which is yum) but they have so many great deals on the go all the time we usually have so much food you can barely see the table, and I end up trying a little bit of everything. At lunchtime it is also pretty busy with business types, as the lunch deals are a steal! And to add to the joy, it is BYO- you bring the booze and they bring the flavour.

We ordered seekh kebab, chicken tikka with pilau rice, a potato & cauliflower side, a korma sauce and a peshwari nan. We got two complimentary poppadoms and a yoghurt based dip also included. All our food was really tasty. The food is cooked to order so expect about a 15 minute wait from placing your order. The guy serving was friendly enough and was quite amenable to tweaking my order to suit our tastes. So it's our new go to Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurant in town. We had been going to another place in town for many years. They recently moved to Cornmarket but we just got tired of their nickel & dime attitude, we found that loyalty counted for nowt and we sure didn't enjoy our last takeaway from there a week ago and that forced us to try here.

It's a normal takeaway restaurant, which we always seem to end up going to when we're spending time in Newry because we are always on the go for a night out or some such antics. Thier dishes are all good - and I've tried a few, but always come back to their Korma dish, because it's generally my favourite from an Indian Cuisine point of view, and theirs is creamy and gorgeous and a good sized portion too. The service is quick and the food is freshly made and the staff are efficient and hardworking. A great takeaway - I will be going back there for definite.

We got to go for an hour on a rare break with the kid dropped off at the grand parents. We went early so that we would be back in time to collect our daughter and be home for bedtime. So we missed peak Saturday evening diner time. It was just starting to get busier at the end before we left. It meant we were able to book with only 45 minutes notice and head down. We arrived and were welcomed Warmly and shown to our seats quickly after being given a few choices of where we would prefer to sit. The menu was very good and varied and should appeal to curry lovers and those not quite so much as well with a few Asian-European blend dishes available. We ordered mains and starters and both courses were brought promptly when required. The poppadom appetisers were on the table moments after we sat down which was great. The food itself was excellent. I had the jalfreizi and although the flavours maybe weren't quite as complex as my favourite place, it was certainly up there and served up in a decent portions size. I look forward to visiting here again

The garage forecourt location actually means there's plenty of parking so even if you're picking up an order placed on the phone you'll find somewhere to throw the car.

Well I think it is fair to say that judging by the few left overs there were and how tasty they still were this takeaway establishment has passed it's test. There was a good selection on the menu and the portion size was more than enough in fact some dishes could easily have been shared depending on appetite. The waiting time from order to collection was fair and the price was very reasonable. Situated on the outskirts of Bangor just off the A2 makes it very handy for commuters coming and going .Also the fact that it is part of a shopping and petrol station complex with an accessible cash machine and next door to an off licence makes it the ideal place to pick up all the necessities for that cosy evening in without the washing up to do afterwards!

The vindaloos I'm told, were hot and had runny noses on the go after a few bites, my jalfreze was perfect and I wasn't long behind on the runny nose and my sister, the least adventurous, loved her massala! All in all, I will be back here! Perfect! Oh, I also noticed that if you order take away and it costs over £25, mine does-always, then they give you a free bottle of wine! Nice!
