The people in the unit behind me prop and leave the doors open all hours of the day/night , the front door does not lock and when it is fixed all you have to do is yank it open which makes the intercom useless. The doors to your apartments have gaps that show the hallway at the tops of them, it seems as if this building it's self needs major upgrades. If I did not get wrapped into a years lease I would move because this apartment is not worth the amount they are asking.

Residents are now paying for their heat, as the apartments solution for this is to give out space heaters that run on your electricity. Residents are not given anything off of rent for this either. You shouldn't have to dress in pants, sweatshirts, and gloves out of necessity, at a place you are suppose to be able to call home. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have record of multiple emails to Golfview, as well as many pictures of mice and mouse droppings. At first, all that was done was a single trap was set in the kitchen area. I was told that pest control would be out to my apartment and that never happened. Months later, a large hole under the kitchen sink was filled with spray foam. I will be letting the health department know. Also, they will find anything to charge you for (and keep your deposit) when you decide to move out. They will claim they didn't get your notice to move out in time and charge almost $800. Beware!

I had great neighbors in my building so I can't complain about that but I will complain about the disgusting sewer smell coming from my drains and every time I called I was told to just plug my drain when I wasn't using them. Cigarette smoking is LEGAL in the units so the building attracted to mine someone smoked in their unit so mine always smelled awful. All my clothes and belongings reeked like smoke. One day I notice was put on the front door saying marijuana Smoke was prohibited but cigarettes smoke was still legal. You're telling me one smoke is legal and the other isn't???? It doesn't make any sense. Maintenance Was very nice and always respectful and on time but that's about it.

I'm not sure where to start. We moved here after moving from out of state. I will own that I should…read morehave done more research. We are moving early because I am at my breaking point. We are a family of 4 with minor children. This is NOT a family place. Our utility bills for a 800 sq foot place are over 225 (we have no washer and dryer) they store a very small hot water heater in a cold space on an outside wall so it runs all the time. Within the first 3 months our oven and fridge both had to be replaced. The fridge failed over a holiday and all of our food had to be replaced. ZERO compensation. The walls are literally paper thin, I cannot hear my TV over my neighbors, the formica counters are so worn the pattern is gone plus everything stains, we have mismatched cabinet doors, the mailboxes are not secured, they are in a locked building but no individual security. Yes they have package service but they are not open late so you cannot get your packages. We have "mystery" light switches that go to nothing, leaving us to worry if the power to those switches has been terminated properly. There is a light in the bathroom, one ceiling fan with blades that are warped, light over the stove and two lights over the sink and that is it. The one entry door does not have a peep hole, so absolutely no privacy. Exterior lighting is terrible. I have kept my "porch" light on so that fellow residents can see the sidewalks. The laundry room is deplorable. The floors are coated in salt due to the excessive salt everywhere, when they shovel, they do so at about 4 a.m. just a few feet where you may be sleeping. The kitchen faucet barely puts out any water, the bathtub in our unit has multiple "burn" marks and is cracked cleaning it is pointless. The pool is inoperable and I would assume becomes a mosquito breeding ground in the spring and summer. All of the aforementioned items can just be labeled as "low rent apartment things" but what is by far the most frustrating is that the people who live around you have zero respect for others. Parties, stomping, screaming etc and this goes on all day and all night. I now sleep in my living room nightly so I don't have to hear my neighbor or smell the drugs through the wall. Complaining does nothing, making a really big fuss is only going to invite more drama than we are already experiencing. To exit my unlivable apartment we have to pay damages of close to $4000.00 which we will fight in court. Before you move here consider what you need and want. There are plenty of other places. This is a last resort option. There is no storage, one door in and out, no patios, zero amenities, zero comfort, sky high utilities and when you figure all of that in you could probably move some place way nicer and have a better quality of life for equal to or possibly less money

Well, that's what happened to me. My bathroom was dirty (sink, medicine cabinet, toilet, mirrors). The top of the refrigerator was so dusty and the inside had juice spilled. I'm not sure what "cleaning company" was hired but it looks like they just walked thorough my apartment and missed everything. Update: I went to pick up my security deposit that was left in a mail box it was short $25 dollars. I called the landlord and I was told they would mail the rest. Im not sure how they suddenly got amnesia when it was time to return my money. I know I wasn't the first tenant so they should know how much money to return. After a month I finally received the rest of my security deposit.
