The teller that became available ask us what she can do for us. We explained we interested in opening a business bank account . She began helping us by asking us questions making sure we had everything we needed. She said do you have an ein number ? are you registered with the state ? Do you have a lease agreement to the comercial location you are renting from? then she look at us in an awkward stare and asked ... are you guys U.S. Citizens? We walked out and went to the branch in oakwood Ga and opened and account with regions there. we were NEVER asked about our Citizenship. We explain to the bankers there our previous experience and they were bothered by our experience and said regions bank is not a company that is looking to offend their customers. We opened our account there just because of the excellent treatment. However, someone really needs to speak to Banker ID C89C6 NMLS 1187602 in the braselton branch. Thanks. Have a great day. By the way we are U. S . Citizen.

I do not have to worry about having to be face to face or in person except for a few times when a visual in person identity is needed. My money is safe, and I know I am taken care of. There are a few processes that need to be refined, one being user friendliness of the online banking. I sent in an email request and after 2 weeks no one had contacted me. When I called, I was promptly directed- so for now - calling should always be your first point of contact. At first I was not happy with the change, some paperwork was messed up, and I had to get it corrected, but the correction was all done through phone, fax, and email. Right now my favorite location is in Carnesville, Georgia.

I filled out paperwork for a loan, which was approved, but Peach State never contacts me regarding information and will only contact my husband. We are purchasing a car where I am the primary owner, but Peach State would not put the check in my name, only my husband's. So now I'm at the dealership and have to call my husband to sign paperwork because my own name is nowhere to be found. The loan is approved based on BOTH of our incomes. Not only his. We unfortunately will keep Peach State because their loan rates are good. However, the sexism in their system and their refusal to put me first on any documents makes me very unhappy. I feel like it's the 1970's where women couldn't have a bank account without being married.
