He said it took a while cause they had to cut it. Thank goodness we didn't cancel that order!!! When it came out, it didn't look that great and we were getting full. We normally like the rings and tentacles but this one was a steak cut into strips. As soon as I ate it, I told my bf OMG this is sooooo good! He tried and agreed. It was sooo tender and the seasoned batter fried crispy with some kinda spicy sauce on the bottom. We were so thankful we didn't cancel that order. We also had the special mushroom pizza which was amazing. Even the Brussels sprouts were done perfectly! I had the special watermelon cocktail. I was feeling a bit sick but am a watermelon-aholic so I needed to order it and it did not disappoint. Place was kinda like a club on Friday night. They had a DJ and the place was packed! I didn't care for the ambience much but the food was spectacular. Will definitely go back but maybe on a quieter night.

When the moon hitsa your eye lika big pizza pie that's amoré!…read more Nonna would be proud at the heaven on a plate that is served up from Pizza E Mozzarella Bar. A decor of mismatched plates, old lino covered tables and mix and match chairs and tables in a church feeling type venue somehow works perfectly for this place. The only thing missing from the decor? A piano accordion playing Italian in the corner. This place serves up wood oven cooked everything. From home made sausage (literally a pig is brought in every week and made into the good stuff for the week), simply seasoned ribs and of course pizza. The food is made Calabrese style, in light of the owner Peter's heritage (also owner of Zucca at the Bay). It is for that reason everything here feels like it has been made with passion, romance, amoré and a special kind of moorish Italian spice. Even more impressive is the gluten free pizza option here. No more feeling like you're eating cardboard, nor feeling bloated and heavy after a meal. Our gluten eating friends were not savvy enough to pick the difference! The wine list is do die for and so is the dreamy "Wine Guy" somliers who come to your table and ask you in a French (apparently the two countries are friends now) accent what they can get you to drink. Swoon! The only down side with this place... It's only open for lunch on weekdays and dinner on Friday nights. They just want to leave you wanting more I think!

Their wood oven is amazing! Fantastic simple pizzas. Great service…read more Sit at the kitchen bench for a free cooking class.

Any business that has a "mozzarelle" tasting platter on their menu is bound to get a good rating from me. When said tasting platter involves hefty slabs of fior di latte, scamorza affumicata, scamorza bianca, mozzarella di bufala, squacquerone, ricota di bufala and burrata and they are all explained to me by a sexy man with an equally sexy accent, you'd better believe I'm doling out 5 stars. Seriously, I insist you take time to admire this beauty before finishing the review: http://www.yelp.com.au/biz_photos/Lsu9ZYdqcgLqZp1qXfFOIw?select=rMcukjKpVfh4DBNJI1Wm5g#rMcukjKpVfh4DBNJI1Wm5g Since the rest of the review will be anticlimactic after that vision of glory, I'll just say this: pizza? Amazing. Atmosphere? Perfect. Ingredients? Straight from an episode of Portlandia (i.e. the cow grazed on biodynamic pastures and the chickens were not only raised on idillic Kangaroo Island but likely all had names. Here's hoping mine was named Batman.) Eat here now.

The more stories I hear from Frederico about how and why the food is the way it is at Etica - including the fact that they don't cut the pizza because this is true "Nap style" way of eating pizza, that the pizzas (despite only 3 or 4 toppings) are consistently bursting with flavour - the more I appreciate what this place is trying to achieve. This place is worth the "dough," and the 5th star!

It is so refreshing. If you're not looking hard enough you would easily miss it. Walk in and it's like the prohibition era, from the grungy shelves to the dark, moody decor and booths to the sad music. It is easily one of the best themed cocktail bars in Adelaide. Drinks are fantastic. Some bars have expensive drinks for not much and they don't taste great. Not at Baddog, they are top notch and the barman does it right in front of you on the bar so you don't miss a thing. Brilliant. Best find of the year for me so far.

The waist coats, crystal glasses and twisted stainless steel and silver spoons all work to make this a top spot for a cocktail or cheeky beer. A maestro of the common and rare cocktails and a range of spirits you wont find in many bars Zack makes this bar. Sitting at the bar is mandatory for the first drink in my opinion then sneak off to the lux booths for quiet and intimate drinks. Its dark, has very cool décor and edgy clean bathrooms. Bad Dog Bar doesn't have tvs, doesn't have pokies and doesn't have tap beer and for goodness sakes never order an apple-tini :) and that's the way we like it. Top Tip: order the pickleback - rye bourbon shot followed by some freshly made pickle juice. The SMoking Joint cocktail is also a fav!
