Today we went pumpkin picking and I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant and we happened to have a private pumpkin ride to the pumpkin patch! Danny was an absolute SAINT and drove so slowly and smoothly. He dropped us off at the patch where it hasn't been picked through. Incredible and kind service from everyone at the farm! Absolutely love coming here and getting gourds. Perfect for families and love coming to the petting zoo! They have Chloe the friendly horse, goats, pigs, cows, and donkeys. Love love love this farm especially now when it's fall here in the Adirondacks!!

Don't forget to bring a quarter to use a shopping cart (refunded when you return it), also reduces labor costs and liability costs in the parking lot. I keep my very handy ALDI bags in my trunk. Eco-friendly and another way ALDI keeps its prices lowest in industry. You have to do your own bagging, but checkers are very fast, and I like organizing my own bags.

In the summer, they give free hayrides during the Clinton County Fair. Mary the horse is very sweet and the cows and goats will also say hello! In the fall you can pick gorgeous sunflowers and take pictures in the fields. During Halloweekend you can go through the corn mazes and pick out your favorite pumpkin. This place is perfect for families too, the children can visit the petting zoo where the pigs, donkeys, goats roam free in the fences. You can actually walk into their gates and play with them. We loved meeting the baby goat, Loco and her mother Coco! The pigs love their belly rubs and will fall over when scratching them! It's very cute. Many of the things to do here are free so great value! They sell local apples, gifts and fun things in their gift shop too. Supporting the local farms in town is great for the community here. I came back into town for a few days and stopped by to get some food for my trip and noticed they had a cafe serving sammie's and smoothies and had to try one. They were all dedicated GF which was so amazing since I have celiac disease and it's really hard to find good freshly prepared food without risking cross contact & getting sick. I got the avocado toast sandwich and it was AMAZING! Also grabbed a matcha latte & pumpkin pie on my way out which both hit the spot. Hailey the owner (I hope i spelled that correctly) was the sweetest and I had a great conversation with her about nutrition. The co-op itself has so many gluten free, vegan, organic and locally sourced food options to buy in bulk or by the package. I love the environment they create here and the workers are always so friendly and helpful.
