I can't say enough about the magic of Park City Main Street. I mean, I'm a local, sure, but it…read morestill holds charm and wonder for me. It's the kind of place where you want to grab that special someone, escape, wander up and down the street, hold their hand, and think about how lucky you are to have found them and to have found yourselves together in this mystical mountain town. When it comes to Main Street, there are all kinds of art galleries. Big, little, photos, fine art; they're all worth visiting. I've been to J GO a few times, and it continues to be one of my favorite galleries on Main. Each gallery has its own identity and personality, but J GO certainly stands apart from the rest. While each experience is different depending on the artists on display, the time of year, and your own mood and disposition, I can comfortably say there isn't another gallery like it. While others cover more traditional fine art, photography, or sculptures, J GO takes a more modern slant. It's not so modern that there are strange things crawling out of walls or floor displays that make you question whether they're art or a janitor's half-done project, but definitely more modern in lines, feel, mood and color. One of my favorite bits of the city entire is in J GO--it's the WonderBox. This small alcove in the basement is an old silver vault, and now houses some of the more curious and funky pieces of art. From clowns to dolls or small delightful works of art, it's a little bit silly, a lot though-provoking, and in a town where you can only look at so many photos of trees or barns, it's definitely memorable. To find J GO, look on the east side of the street, and when you see the sign, head downstairs. You can't really see in from the street, so take that leap and head down the stairs. There's also an entrance on the back side (Swede Alley, I think?) and that one is a little less trafficked but more visible and accessible. No matter the season, it's never a bad time to hit up Main Street. Escape, saunter, leave your cares behind, and find the whimsy of the WonderBox and the entire J GO Gallery.

Cool, modern, eclectic and interesting art in a gallery that is adjoining to a Park City coffee…read moreshop. Amazing, must see and enjoy. Love this place a LOT.

I don't know what planet these other reviewers are from with the 5 Star reviews, but I wish I had…read morebeen warned: WASHINGTON SCHOOLHOUSE is NOT a HOTEL. This is 100% a BED & BREAKFAST. So you had better be into "THAT VIBE". The worst first: You can check in, but you can never leave. :-) Watch the fine print. Their reservation is NON-Refundable. Meaning if you stay one night and it's miserable- like for instance, you were looking for water all night because your room is 104 degrees with no air and you are parched and got zero sleep-they aren't going to refund you the other two nights when you check out early. They had the audacity to offer a credit. As if I would EVER come back for another night of HELL? Also, why couldn't we find a water station? I was literally walking around at 2AM looking for a place to fill my water bottle. We just flew in from out of state, Park City is high altitude and the place is a literal inferno. Hello. Two bottles of water in the room isn't going to cut it. HOT & STUFFY They know this is a problem. There is a split A/C unit literally over the bed and a fan mounted next to that! But who wants AC blasting on them? ROOMS ARE CLAUSTROPHOBIC We had the two story suite and the worst night of our lives. The door to the room does not open completely. Same with the closet door which hits the bed. Lame design. That spiral staircase is an accident waiting to happen. Lame design. Tiny bedroom. THE CROWD- not a vibe. I like weird, but this was more like depressing nursing home living room vibe. STUPID SIGNS saying: "we do things different". Yeah, I'll say. I could have stayed at The Montage. CLAUSTROPHOBIA I felt like I was in The Shining or A LAME BED & BREAKFAST. We left before breakfast, but I imagine the whole place would smell like breakfast including you. DESIGN: I knew what I was getting into with the Shabby Chic looking photos online. They showed a bit of restraint, borderline frumpy that fits the bed and breakfast vibes. MANAGER: Thinks he is running the most exclusive, best hotel on earth. Offered us a credit for the two nights we wouldn't be staying after a night of HELL. He just looked at us with an aphasia and utter helplessness. Nothing he could do. Shampoos were toxic. The good: One star for being clean & I liked the implements in the bathroom. One star for effort & the money they spent to try to do something different.

Matt went above and beyond. Sarah was wonderful as well. The service was incredible, the staff made us feel like family and we never wanted to leave. The food and drinks were all divine. The location couldn't have been any better. Checking out on our final day was depressing but I can't wait to come back! Would never consider staying anywhere else in Park City. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Everything here is top-notch quality…read more As I said in my previous review, I am just so impressed with this place. All the exhibits are wonderful. There is not a boring inch in the whole facility as they even decorate their employee access doors with intricate art work. Tasteful planters everywhere. The employees and volunteers are helpful and friendly. Such interesting information on species and habitats. A shout out for their café. Reasonable prices for delicious food. It was $13 for a pub smash burger and drink and fries. Only a couple of bucks more than a #1 at In-N-Out. It was really tasty! Bun was homemade delicious. The fries were exceptional. Crispy outside and creamy inside. Garlic fries. My wife had the Romain lettuce something bowl with pulled pork. She said it was excellent. Very generous portion as she got full half way through. My son then scarfed it down. I also couldn't resist and had to buy a chocolate cupcake. Very moist and the frosting was real frosting, not the yucky, airy stuff that grocery stores put on their sheet cakes. Pretzels are amazing. We did the ECCO virtual reality "ride." Of course, not anywhere near a Disneyland level of a ride, but it was informative and interesting and fun. You can do the ocean or Amazon river experience. We did both. This is free and included in your admission. I really like how they put benches to sit throughout the facility. When you visit such places, you get "mall legs" and sitting down is a respite. Highlights: Penguins! (So cute and funny!), shark tunnel, touch ponds, otters, jelly fish, giant fish, aviary. There is a very nice little kids' playground. Interesting to get an up close look at the claw (ECCO). [It was the staging for U2's 360° concert tour for lighting, video, sound, SFX. The aquarium owner saw it was for sale and bought it. it was dissembled, shipped, and re-assembled.] Get there when they open or close to it for close in parking and less crowds. Such a great place to have nearby. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

They had a lot of animals that isn't usually common to see at an Aquarium. I saw huge roaches (YEEUUCKKKK), they had a snow leopard, a Komodo dragon, sea otters and some more. Where the sea otters are it looked like the beautiful formation rocks in Utah. We had such a good time.
