We've brought her everything from paintings to simple family photos to antique photos of our great grandfather and each one ended up unique and special. We have had family and guests ask us where we had things framed because they are so beautiful and "not what everyone else has". Just as important as the end product is the process with Mieke. She makes it a really fun design process with creativity. Telling the story of the pieces is part of it--where it will hang and what it's meaning is. She took all the time I needed, explained her process, and suggested different products that may help, and why. She underpromised (material delivery might have been an issue) and over delivered as far as when my framed painting was ready. I got it in time for my husband's Christmas gift, and he was delighted!
