I actually saw this place all over TikTok, so I had to check it out. The interior is super cute and aesthetic, definitely feels like you stepped into an episode of Bridgeton. That being said, it's not very big at all, and it honestly didn't feel like enough space for how many people were there. Even at around 10 PM on a weekday, it was packed. There was a long line when we got there, but it moved pretty fast, which was nice. They were actually preparing a fresh batch of their brownies while we were there, so we had to wait a few extra minutes, but overall they were really quick and efficient considering how busy it was. We got the medium of their famous dark chocolate puddle and shared it between four of us. Honestly, that was the perfect move. I don't love super sweet desserts, and even having about a quarter of it was more than enough for me. It's really rich, super gooey, and so chocolatey. It's actually not too sweet either, it's perfect. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but it was genuinely so good, easily a 10/10. It actually lives up to the hype. The only downside is the price. We paid around $16 for the cup, which is definitely on the expensive side for what it is. But at the same time, it's very rich and shareable, so it kind of balances out. Overall, I get why this place is blowing up. Cute spot, fast service, and a dessert that actually hits. I'd definitely go back, just probably to share again.

The chicken was flaky and the shredded chicken filling wasn't spicy. Both were nice size. The Ludoo's were amazing! Packed full of cashews, almonds, raisins and dried fruit. Authentic Pakistani bakery that is a little pricey for the quality of items you get. Don't get me…read morewrong, everything I got tasted very good but there are a few things I didn't like about this place: 1. Customer Service. I came for the almond cake originally and the cashier told me it's not available. So I said not a problem. She could tell I'm not Pakistani since I didn't respond in urdu when she spoke. However, as I can catch on some phrases, when another customer came in and asked for the same thing, I saw how she first said they're sold out. Then, the other worker said they had one reserved for a person who had reserved but never picked up. Thus, the cashier went and sold it to that customer. I found it very unprofessional because I personally felt that they sold it to them first since they were Pakistani but I wasn't. Second, I was standing there waiting for my order I had placed, thus she knew I had requested it before. Anyhow, I didn't like that at all and found it quite rude. Staff aren't welcoming. They don't greet you with a smile, nothing. Just place your order, wait, take it and go. 2. Availability of items. There wasn't much options to choose from when I went. Only limited items left to order and was told to come back another time. 3. Small bakery. Not much space inside for movement. It can get crowded and feel tight as people come in and out. There's no seating area as it's more of a takeout. The food we got was good, though a little spicy for the savouries. Might consider giving it a second shot but it definitely won't be my go-to place or a place I'd visit often.

When we had arrived, we had…read morewalked to the front counter however, we were told to choose a seat to sit in since we were dining in. We were then brought two menus, and asked to choose our items. I had settled on the kabab wrap, while my mother chose the beef and lamb wrap. While we were waiting for our meals to arrive, we were offered a bowl of lentil soup, which was complimentary. We enjoyed how delicious the soup was, and that it was free. After we had eaten the lentil soup, we were given a large piece of complimentary pita bread, which we had eaten on its own. We were then waiting patiently for our wraps, which arrived about ten minutes after finishing the pita bread. However, my wrap had arrived with onions in it, which I had asked not to be included. I had told the waitress, whom quickly brought it back to be fixed. I then received the correct wrap about five minutes later however, it didn't have any sauce on it. The waitress then brought the sauce in a small container, which I was able to put on my wrap on my own. The wraps were delicious, with an abundance of meat and vegetables to fill it up. We also loved the dipping sauces that accompanied the wraps. However, the waitress seemed a bit confused when we had asked certain questions, as the restaurant had people coming in and out at all times. Overall, I would certainly return to this restaurant, as the food was well-made and appetizing.

So glad I gave this place another try because it's now become my favorite shawarma spot. The flavor…read moreand quality is LIGHTYEARS better than your average shawarma place for the same price/portion, and I love that they use real toum & make their breads fresh. Their complimentary lentil soup when dining in is also so delicious, I inhale the bowl as soon as it hits my table every time. Service is also very friendly. The way I usually order is: beef/lamb shawarma wrapped in tandoor bread with garlic sauce (toum), extra lettuce, tomato, onions, and parsley, with no pickles or tamarind sauce. I've had that same order except wrapped in saj bread but the tandoor one is so much better (and they actually bake it fresh to order unlike saj which comes out of a bag). Portion is massive for only $14, it's the size of my forearm and I can literally make two meals out of it as long as it's loaded with veggies. 4 stars because of two things: on my first visit I was trying to compare their kebab samoon with my regular spot Kababko, and I thought their bread was too dense + not enough meat for my liking so I will continue to go to Kababko when I want a samoon sandwich. Second thing I'm not a huge fan of is how cramped their seating is, but I guess I can't be too peeved since the place is pretty small. Overall I'll continue coming here STRICTLY for shawarma. I prefer ordering takeout at this place but the free lentil soup for dine in is quite tempting lol.

Matari is definitely my new favourite coffee break. This spot has some unique drinks on the menu and a great selection of desserts/treats to have with your cup of tea/coffee. I love that they're able to modify your drinks based on your preferences. There's quite a lot of options to choose from as well. I really enjoyed the honeycomb and the portion was good to share. It wasn't too sweet but the honey on top was the perfect addition. The drink is served in a beautiful cup and was delicious + worth the wait. Our order was a bit of a long wait despite it not being busy, but it was 100% worth it. Looking forward to coming back! One of my favourite coffee shops in the GTA that I keep going back to over and over again. I especially love their adeni and their croissants. However, I find that everything I've tried on the menu has always been sooo good. It's a little on the pricier side but the atmosphere/ambiance of the place and quality/taste of the products make up for it. They also recently introduced a loyalty program where you can collect points with every purchase. Tried their pistachio cake and loved every bite!
