He was quite attentive with his staff in organizing and laying out the food, as well as setting up the heating elements. He taught my serving staff what a portion size should entail. The portions were huge. He provided us with so much food that all of our staff were able to share the dinner with the students. Marquis also brought us a courtesy entrée of spicy green beans. As I walked around the dining tables at prom checking on how students were enjoying their dinner, every student announced how great the food tasted. They really liked how it was not bland. The students all said they really loved the taste and spice level of the food. We had ribs, tri-tip, mac/cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, Hawaiian roll and cornbread. Our company had a luncheon and we decided to have Bar-B-Que Kings cater the event. I have scheduled many catering events and I can say with out a doubt that this was by far the easiest booking I have done. The owner was very prompt in responding and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good luncheon. This catering company is above and beyond any other catering company I've come across in California!! Bar-B-Kings is legitimately a top tier catering company! The level of service and food quality is something you don't see in this generation! I was beyond mesmerized in how this business was conducted. The proficiency and cleanliness was on point. I had seen all employees were black gloves the whole time. The food was top tier! 5 star!!!!! The tri-tip was delicious! The chicken thigh flavor was incredible. The mac & cheese and green beans chefs kiss! The cornbread is unique and like no other. I just celebrated my 30th birthday this past weekend and had Bar-B-Kings cater for an event of mine for the second time. The food was amazing the first time so we can to go through them again. This time they did a formal catering service and it was the best thing ever. He came with all the plates and they cooking utensils which was in rose good just like the theme of the party. And to top it off they cleaned it all up. They were ready at exactly the time I requested and was patient with me until I was ready to go! He kept checking in and then also left some extra food that he had with us even though we ran out, he still accommodated for more than I had ordered and was prepared for that just in case. The food and service went way beyond five stars! This was the best tri-tip I've ever tasted. Their chicken was so moist and full of flavor too.
