Our wedding was one we'll never forget in the Hill Country on an October evening, filled with our family and friends dancing the night away. Almost everything went right. As the groom, during cocktail hour, I noticed that the owners of our venue were serving the guests drinks, along with the boyfriend of the wedding planner. They were getting slammed by dozens of our guests wanting libations to get the party started. Our wedding planner informed me that our bartending vendors, Bar Divas of Austin, had yet to arrive, and that they informed her they would be on the way. They eventually showed up - almost five hours late! Thank God those people listed above went above and beyond to keep the boat afloat. With three or so hours of the night remaining, they continued to drop the figurative ball, from serving our guests hard liquor (we requested mixed drinks only), being rude to one of the bridesmaids who asked what she was getting served, and over pouring cocktails which led to us running out of tequila well before the night was through. This was one of the few vendors, based on the high reviews, that we thought was gonna be a no-brainer. It turned out to be the worst decision for us, but luckily the damage was mitigated. We strongly recommend you reconsider this vendor for your big day. As of today, a week from our wedding, they have yet to reach out to us to make it right.... (UPDATE: The venue owners had tried reaching out and stating our case as to why we should at least be refunded, but the owner refuses, saying he had to get "back-up emergency bartenders, costing him 4 times the amount." un. real. Especially considering they were both at least five hours late. Suffice to say, Bar Divas of Austin is officially blacklisted from the venue, and we will make it our mission on every review site to let couples know that if you choose this vendor, you're at a significant risk of being screwed over) read more

We paid $1750 (not including tip) for two bartenders for 5 1/2 hours on New Years. We only had one bartender show up and the second one did not show up until 12:30 am (an hour and a half before the event was over) . The bartender that was at the party told me she was only scheduled to be there until midnight (even though we paid in full) but since it's the holidays she was willing to stay until 2 am. I didn't receive any contact from the company after the event, nor were there any apologies/compensation given. The bartender that showed up first gave good service but I would not recommend this company. read more

Bar Divas was supposed to show up for the wedding reception at 4:30 p.m. Around 6:00 p.m. when we realized the bartenders had not showed, I called and got who I am assuming was the owner. At first he was very confused and mentioned that his event coordinator had been out for the week and he needed to "see what was going on." After several minutes of not hearing from him (reception had already started) I called back and was told "didn't I just talk to you???? You need to be patient ." No sense of urgency in his voice, zero customer service. He continued to argue with me and at one point hung up on me as I was trying to explain to him that his lack of communication was unsettling and unprofessional. The "emergency back up" bartenders did not show up until almost 9:00 p.m. Not sure why back up was needed in the first place. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND. read more

As the bride you don't get to drink much on your wedding day, so while I didn't get to experience their skills first hand, everyone was talking about how good a job they did. All the guests told me the bartenders were friendly, laid back, and made really good drinks. We were prioritizing good food, good booze, and a good time above all else at our wedding, so it makes me so happy to get such glowing feedback from my friends and family. The bar looked often swarmed during the wedding (open bar/full bar, so you know people went to town haha) so it's really impressive they were able to still make tasty cocktails under pressure! Bar Divas did a second family wedding for us. We can't say enough about the actual bartenders that did our event, but the management did not follow through on what he promised and left us to do much more ourselves. I gave him written directions and map to our venue after his staff got lost on the first wedding and showed up late. I specifically said to give it to them and my number because gps does not work in this area well. He didn't do that and one bartender had flat and never made it. No one was there to set up margarita machine. We had to do that ourselves, the mixing and making. So disappointed in him. The stars are for the 2 awesome bartenders. read more

I chose Bar Divas of Austin for my little brother's wedding and they were fantastic. Jacqueline and Sergey made the planning process a breeze--their pricing structure and invoices were easy to understand and their payment system was incredibly user-friendly. Both Sergey and Jacqueline were onsite to assist our bartenders in setting up and returned at the event's conclusion to assist in teardown. They offered great insight and partnered with our other vendors to create the ideal guest flow for the bride & groom's desired atmosphere for the big day. The bartenders were friendly, polished, professional and energetic. This was the second event for which I've used Bar Divas of Austin and it definitely won't be the last! read more

Brandy came out for a private social event hosted by a magazine inside our community. Although it was a wine event so technically we could have easily skipped the service and just had residents pour their own wine, having Bar Divas there gave it an extra level of class and took our event to the next level. She was professional, on time and easy to communicate with in planning the event. Brandy reached out to me to make sure that we were on the same page and even offered to introduce me to a connection she had made she felt would be a great fit for our event. During the event she was all smiles and really made the attendees feel welcome. As an event planner I will no doubt be reaching out to her again for recommendations for my large events but I love having an easy recommendation for friends or my own smaller private events too. read more

I stumbled upon bar divas for bartending at my wedding reception. They had an insurance policy my venue accepted. Sergay was very responsive and prompt for all of our questions and needs. None of our 150 guests had to wait for drinks. I can't recommend Sergay and Bar Divas enough! read more

We were very please with the services that Bar Divas provided for our wedding! The drinks were great, the champagne toast was awesome, and the bartenders were so sweet and friendly. We had a bit of a communication hiccup at the beginning because our contact left the company, but the owner stepped in and made sure things went smoothly after that. Bar Divas did a killer job bartending our wedding! We had 100 guests and nobody has a long wait for drinks. Everything went really smoothly and our signature cocktail drinks were very good. We began working with Sergey early on and he gave us great ideas and listened to every detail about how our ideal wedding scenario. He put me in touch with a person that handled ordering the alcohol and delivering it to the venue. The quantity of alcohol was spot on and we didn't overspend. Bar Divas price was very reasonable and I highly recommend them for any bartending needs. There was a mix up when the delivery company didn't bring the mixers, but Sergey instantly jumped into gear and went and got them himself, saving us from any issues! Great job!! read more

We used Bar Divas for several events for our company and they were great at first but then our bartender quit. Once that happened, we never experienced another bartender that gave us the pep and quality as what we had before. Unfortunately, we have had to cut ties with Bar Divas and use someone else from now on. I recommend hiring people who love their job to avoid bartenders who are angry/somber while catering to our guests. read more

I hired Bar Divas of Austin to work my 200 person...open bar wedding and could not have been more satisfied. I had them not only supply the hourly bartenders but had them handle the entire bar...Ice, mixers, garnishments etc. At no time did I have to concern myself with the bar. The ladies ( Stephanie and Abby) great bartenders and my guests loved their fun out going personalities!! Sergey and Bar Divas provided bartending services for our wedding reception this past weekend. They did a fantastic job. Sergey was a pleasure to work with from the start, helping us with our cocktail selection (Old Fashioned and a Texas Collins, both phenomenal) and beer choices. Each step of the way, communication was beyond easy. Sergey was quickly responsive to all of our questions, and provided all the information we needed to make our decisions. The day of the party, they were there promptly, joyously, and with the highest level of professionalism, interfacing with the other caterers and event planner seamlessly. Couldn't be happier with Sergey and his team! To be completely honest, the bar was something that ultimately slipped my mind and scrambled to get together just a few days before; and despite my poor communication, Sergey was still able to come in the day of, chat with my family to get an idea of what was going on and have his team rock the bar! It actually "opened" before the ceremony and never shut down (which my guests loved!).
