I asked for updates all year and was told every time "they're not done yet, but don't worry, it will get done by your wedding day," Spoiler: that did not happen Ceilings aside, there were good and bad things about this experience. On the day of the rehearsal, my foot fell through a rotten plank of wood and they immediately remedied that which was amazing. Our advisor was very kind and helpful throughout the experience and answered our endless questions. The day of the wedding, however, our advisor was not scheduled to be working, so he was not there and the only staff who were there had not met us before and, due to a language barrier, had a very tough time communicating our needs. Several things went wrong the day-of like no electricity in the ceremony space, tables and chairs incorrectly laid out (several guests had nowhere to sit), and those ceilings were still unfinished (also wasps live in the insulation and attacked one of my bridesmaids). We brought up these concerns to our advisor and never received a response. Like, for weeks. We followed up. Nothing. Then, we get a check in the mail which IMO was not for enough money, but still no communication. It's like the customer service relationship immediately ends on the day of the wedding. Just bizarre. If they ever fix these ceilings, I'd say book it and ensure that your advisor will be working the day of your wedding.

The communication between us and the park was really calming and they were able to almost accommodate all of our request. It is not overly expensive and you are given virtually the entire venue. Our experience was 10/10. Any events such as baby showers, wedding receptions, graduation parties etc, this is your way to go.

However, the AC turns COMPLETELY OFF when the doors are open and takes forever to cool down the room even the least bit. We spent 4 hours in 80+ degree heat due to this dysfunction. If you are planning an event I would recommend you LEAVE THE DOORS LOCKED. Otherwise, beautiful venue, wish I didn't sweat for 4 hours in formal wear, or that this wasn't a venue in Texas.

As others have mentioned parking can be a challenge but I was informed that parking garages are nearby. The meeting room is on the second floor and there are stairs and an elevator for easy entry. There is also a patio deck that was perfect for collaborating on a warm sunny spring day. This space can accommodate about 100 or so attendees and there is room for catering. The event coordinator was beyond helpful as we had to change the seating configuration at the last minute. This is a great spot for a mid-sized or smaller event. As a bonus the Main street activity is a brief stroll away.

It's a great place for a medium sized company meeting of 40 or so people. The obvious problem I spotted was that you are relegated to street parking since they only have a handful of spaces in back. Some of the pros I will mention are the fact that they do actually have an elevator off to the side of the building. Upstairs in the Center they do have a full kitchen complete with refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a nice outdoor balcony with additional seating and there are two glass garage doors which can be raised. They have a nice lounge area in the corner along with two bathrooms located behind the kitchen. There is a 6 x 8' flat screen for presentations on the side wall along with a smaller 3 x 4' one on the other wall. They also have plenty of tables and chairs for the event space if you need them. There does seem to be an area which appears to be a stage area, although it only has two plugs, but it does have some effect lighting. As for the cons, I've already mentioned that you will be competing for street parking. The upstairs room itself has no sound deadening material so it gets very loud. No laminate or carpeted flooring, just concrete. Basically, this is just a good acceptable 31/2 star venue to host corporate meetings or quiet remembrances. The photographs included add more insight and rental info.

Michelle and her staff help the girls pick out their dresses, paint their nails while they secretly interview them then the girls will put on a fashion show for the crowd. Then the kids have a little tea party with goldfish and cake all while being treated as a princess. Depending on the package the kids may make a stuffed animal. We have a couple cats, a few unicorns and even a lamb I think and the girls cherish each of them. Hoping to sneak at least one more party in here before my girls grow out of this stage.

She also sprinkled our girls with glitter at the princess power statement ceremony and the girls got to have a fashion show. Each girl also got to stuff a unicorn toy as the party favor for the princess unicorn party. Michelle's speech about friendship had my adult guests tearing up- it was so beautiful to hear her encourage the girls to enjoy and appreciate their friends and to be a good friend and value the unique characteristics of each of your friends. We also celebrated my older daughter's birthday here years ago and the party was also a huge success. I highly recommend My Party Palace- Michelle has lots of options for a wide range of ages and even offers special events and summer camps. In addition, Michelle is very generous and donates every year to schools and non-profits in our community.

We had such an amazing time on Lake Travis thanks to Willo and Float On. Everything about the…read moreexperience was extremely streamlined from booking to filling out waivers to navigating to the marina. Willo gave superb instructions on operating and piloting the boat including an overview of relevant customs and laws while out on the water. Our group had six adults and one 2-year old and they had plenty of water safety devices for all ages. On a side note, it was wonderful to see how genuinely excited Willo was about Lake Travis once again having a healthy water level after several dry years. In terms of our experience on the lake, we got excellent advice on where to travel based on our team's interests and after following his directions it felt like we had arrived on our own private lake. We probably only saw a handful of other boats during our 3-hour excursion and that was only in passing. The boat came with a Garmin GPS that made it really easy to retrace our steps. For those wondering, there was excellent cell phone service out on the lake and we were able to use our phone GPS, make calls, and stream music. The boat had some nice integrated speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and we were able to jam out to our own tunes. There was also a cool flotation device attached to the back of the boat called the Aqua Lily Pad which we unrolled after anchoring, we had multiple adults laying on it without sinking into the lake. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience and we would highly recommend booking with Float On.

Before arriving to the dock, Trisha, who has been coordinating with us, and Brett, our captain, contacted us about half an hour ahead of time notifying us that Brett was ready for us at the lake whenever we arrived! Upon arrival, he provided a cooler with ice and water bottles for us to use to store some of our sandwiches and drinks. The boat ride was extremely smooth and he provided much insight into Lake Travis! The boat was equipped with speakers that allowed us to play our favorite songs and the slide & lily pad were a nice added touch! The girls and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the location he chose, Devil's Cove, was great for pictures and swimming. Overall, the experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend booking with Nauti ATX Charters again!

Got married at the Chateau on 9/1/2012. Kathy is the main operator of the Chateau. I had viewed 3 sites that I had found on google/yelp/the knot/weddingwire.com. Being a previous business owner I dissected the good and the bad reviews on all the businesses we were looking at. Overall Kathy had the best venue and options for our wedding. Something that attracted me to her site was she offered packages. We were able to do the ceremony, reception, cake, DJ, caterer, flowers, and some other items through her packages she offered. She gave us a list of preferred vendors whom have worked her site before. We interviewed some or just used her recommendations on others. This is not her first go around in the industry so I gave her my trust that she knew her thing. She had proven to us and had showed us on the wedding day that she knew exactly what she was doing. The wedding party and the guest were enchanted by her location. After the wedding everyone just kept saying how beautiful and flawless the wedding was. Even after 1 year of planning there was still so much for the bride to do. So if you are looking to make a simpler wedding, doing a package deal with Kathy is the way to go. I can't imagine having to pick out all those services independently. The rates were also great. One site I had looked at were wanting 10k just to rent the place for 1 day. That is just crazy!. We attended the Olson's wedding in June at the Chateau On The Creek. What a gorgeous place! The day was beautiful - perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The reception area which at one time was a home was decorated so pretty with flowers and candles throughout. The food was excellent - the wait staff very professional. The owners were very attentive to the guests as well as the bride and groom. We noticed they were there throughout the entire evening seeing that every detail was taken care of - even helping the bride and groom cut their wedding cake - toasting to each other and getting them to the dance floor for their first dance. Just when we thought it could not get any better and after visiting with the owners at length on how they came to acquire this beautiful property, we said our goodbyes and thanks. What a shock when we opened the front door to leave and saw so many tiki torches and lighted trees. It was breath taking! We could not leave! We sat on the swing on the front porch taking it all in and feeling nothing but peace. We highly recommend Kathy and Mark Hunt and their their Chateau On The Creek. read more

My experience with Chateau on the Creek was completely different from the one posted. I found Kathy and her staff to be very helpful and went beyond my expectations to insure that I had the wedding I had envisioned. The venue was beautiful and I received several comments from guests on the wonderful setting of my wedding. Kathy paid attention to every detail and my family and I were able to enjoy the day in comfort, knowing everything was being handled in a professional and gracious way. We contracted with some of her recommended vendors while choosing others outside her list. All she recommended did a wonderful job (Fancy Florals & DJs) and we appreciate her guiding us in the right direction. I just had my wedding at Chateau on the Creek on May 5th and it went perfect from start to finish. Kathy and everyone from the Chateau were so nice and helpful from the first day we met. They handle so much and take a lot of the stress away. The wedding and reception went smoothly, without any problems, and I know it had do with the way they run things. I didnt have to worry about a thing. They even made mine and my husbands plates for us at the reception, so we could relax and greet guests before we ate. Awesome! Our world shut down in Texas 3 weeks before our wedding date. I am giving The Union 1 star due to the fact that they were not willing to refund out deposits. I had to cancel my wedding due to Covid-19, as my fiancé's side is all from New York. On April 2nd, 2020, everything, including The Union, shut down. Based on the contract, this should have fallen into Force Majeure, for which I should have received all monies paid. However, I because I decided to hold onto the last large lump sum of my remaining balance, I "broke contract" and they will not be giving my any refund. Thank God I didn't pay the remaining balance because they would have kept that too. To be fair, The Union did offer to let us reschedule the wedding date at not cost, but given the current state of the country and travel restrictions, it's not worth the risk of endangering my loved ones. We would have considered rebooking when/if things got better, but the venue does not hold the same feeling it once did.

On July 3, 2025--well over three months before the date--we informed them in writing that we had to cancel due to personal circumstances and asked to discuss a fair, partial refund since there was still plenty of time to rebook the date. After that message, we never heard from anyone again. No follow-up call, no acknowledgment of the situation--complete silence. Keeping a full $3,400 while refusing to even reply is unacceptable business practice. If you're a couple researching venues, be very cautious. Verify every refund and cancellation term in writing and assume that once Angel Springs has your deposit, you may never hear from them again if things change. The property is beautiful, but the way they treat customers is not.

The ceremony and reception space was dreamy! The ceremony overlooks a beautiful field surrounded by these same old and winding trees. The sun sets over this field and creates an ideal setting for stunning photography. The event space has amazing stone walls with vines growing around the outside and stunning chandeliers inside. Natalie runs the space and was our day of coordinator. She was the best decision we made! She is kind, patient, and gets things done swiftly and with grace. I would recommend this place highly for a wedding or any event.

It lent itself beautifully to a 2020 wedding- with such an open, airy aesthetic that you feel compelled to throw up a pic on your IG because you're suddenly at 'influencer-level gorgeous' standing against these white bricks with that fabulous golden-hour lighting. Let's talk about logistics. As a guest, Hutto is definitely not right near Austin, but the Lyft ride wasn't bad at all and the wedding had set up a shuttle bus to get folks to the Austin hotel after the wedding. I'm not sure how many Lyfts or Ubers you'd find if you went searching at 11pm, so the shuttle back was a big plus. The venue itself had two large spaces (one presumably for the ceremony and the other for dinner), with a bar space and an outdoor area (cocktail hour vibes). I didn't see a kitchen, but this wedding had dinner set up as a buffet in the now-empty ceremony room, catered by a BBQ food truck out back. There's an upstairs area for the bridal party to get ready, which presumably has a bathroom (I didn't get up there. I was a +1). The bathroom sitch for guests included a women's room with a couple of stalls and shared sink/mirror space and one single men's room (which caused a bit of a line, but not terrible). Overall, if I was an Auton...ite? Austonian? Anyway, if I lived in Austin, I would absolutely consider this venue. It's minimalist, historic vibe allows you to forgo the unpleasant hotel ballroom pipe-and-drape decor, and you can add a few bits of greenery and call it a day with decor. FABULOUS!

We hired Alyson to plan our wedding celebration that had been postponed for almost two years…read morebecause of COVID. To say she was great would be an understatement. She was on top of everything, super organized and efficient (which I loved), and helped put together our dream wedding. From suggesting and helping us pick the best venue, to all the vendors, layout, timelines, she did it all to perfection. We appreciate her working so well with our vision, which wasn't the traditional wedding, and handling all the coordination and details. All preparation ran very smoothly thanks to her, and during the day of our wedding, everything turned out great. Her team during that day was also amazing, really on top of everything. We would recommend her 100%.
