Both the dishes were bursting with flavors. We devoured them both with a plate of rice and fries. Service was fantastic and the server was very friendly and made every attempt to tell us the most authentic way of eating these dishes. The dish was big enough for at least 3 people so be careful of portion size when you order. We have been told this is the case for a lot of restaurants in Brazil. The food was alright but felt like something was missing. The search for the perfect moqueca continues. Service was good, cold beers were good.

Amazing crust, light, made with Italian flour (the owner, who also serves the clients, is Italian and loves Pizza). The tomato sauce is awesome, great taste! The Margherita comes with small pieces o tomato, instead of huge slices of it (as it is common in other places). Don't be fooled by the appearances! This small humble place beats most of the fancy Restaurants in Buzios! If by Buzios, you should give it a shoot! A Pizza-place so good that would make success in bigger cities as well. The only downside is that all the ingredients are superb, but the cheese is a simple, regular mozzarella, and that kind of unbalances the Pizza. To be fair, they do have a Margherita that comes with Buffalo mozzarella, that one should give it a try (we had a regular Margherita, with the regular Mozzarella). UPDATE: The owner contacted me to said that he was sad that I though the Mozzarella was a simple one, as he said that he uses a very good one, that you cannot find at the regular market. It's a favourite of the Brazilian population, and is a popular option for lunch. They can range from very modest restaurants to very fancy. As a Brazilian person I might be biased here, but the food is of very good quality. Although I wish there were more options (lighter options, the salad bar is not taken very seriously most of the time in Brazil), the meat is great, very good quality Brazilian Churrasco, and plenty of options. You can just ask the bbq guy if you want your meat done in another way. and the standard options such as Brazilian farofa, rice, beans, etc. are all really well cooked and tasty. The place is big and is a good option for big groups in my opinion, although I have only been there as a couple. It's an open space and it's forbidden to smoke, something I really appreciate in Brazil. There are two floors, clean bathrooms, and also the option to sit outside by the sun, where you can do some people watching with a good view of the Rua das Pedras.
