However, after talking to the waitress I realized that it was just a typical sauce that came WITH grilled calçots and it doesn't actually contain calçots. Similarly to duck sauce in Chinese- American cuisine and eel sauce in Japanese cuisine it didn't actually have calçots outside of its name.They were out of a couple things I wanted to try and I ended up going with the croquettes sampler. There were 4 different ones: vegetable, mushroom, spinach-hummus, and mushroom-sweet potato. They were all delicious.
