Bar Angolo means "Corner bar" in italian and is of course a bar.. but it is more of a coffee bar rather than, one we in Britain are oh so familiar with.
This is only a small shop and can seat only few people, and of course due to its' size, the member of staff can hear everything you say. This can be good when you are asking your friend What the Wi-fi password is, but bad when you are plotting an evil plot to blow up the sun (Well.. you get my drift)
As I was planning to go for a meal, I just picked up an iced tea, they have Lemon and Peach San Benedetto Iced teas, which I like and are hard to find in England, with only Tesco stocking them in my area online, I didn't find them to taste as good, but still I was pleased to get an iced tea.
They do serve some alcohol here but it is very basic, it is mainly their cold drinks in the freezer and a selection of illy coffee.
He did have a large selection of newspapers and sandwiches on the table, which I guess were free samples/ to use while in the "bar"
The guy "behind the bar" was nice, and I think it is just a shame it is so small, as it ruins it a little, I didn't notice much around the location, but it is still in Rome. so they won't have to worry about not having any people zoom past their cafe, while non-locals try to cross the road! Why won't the mopeds stop for me! 3 stars - although this is slightly generous in my opinion read more
