There are a number of professionals working from this office and every single one of them, especially the two that I've worked with directly as well as the office admin are absolutely wonderful! From what I can tell, each of the staff members specialize in a few different areas of focus so that every need/issue is addressed. Being in my early 30's and not having gone to speak with someone since college, I did feel a bit apprehensive about calling to make my first appointment but once I heard the EXTREMELY sweet and pleasant voice on the other end of the line, it was as if it were meant to be. I've never felt more welcomed and comfortable! All the way down to the color of the walls and the soothing music in the living room-like waiting area... Just walking through the door gives the feeling of calm. It's unfortunate that there's such a stigma surrounding "going to a counselor", honestly, going to Woodland Professional Associates has been the most INTERESTING and thought provoking experience I've ever had! I look forward to LEARNING about myself and seeing things from a number of different views (different ways to look at things) and most of all, the reciprocated meaningful conversation! I have known the folks at this office since the mid 1980s. I am not embarrassed to admit that I have used them for help dealing with grief after a significant loss. I have referred several individuals there and can report that they are delighted in the services received. I am particularly impressed with the broad array of skill sets offered. Dr. Paul Fallon is a Harvard graduate and a psychiatrist. He is easy to talk to and will take the time to answer any questions you have. He doesn't just fill you with drugs. He is genuinely interested in YOU as a person as well as a patient. I believe he works out of Exeter too but not sure of this. David McCue is a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is kind and like Dr.Fallon, has a great cache of skills yet is not arrogant but is warm and easy to talk to. He is good with couples, individuals and families. Dr. Fallon is in high demand but the last time I checked he took Medicare assignment and I believe many of the others do. If your marriage is on the rocks, or you just experienced a loss, try this group. They are NOT like many cold, distant providers who take your money and run. I wish that people would open up about this topic...people need to know about the highly skilled docs, social workers, etc.---they can save you or a loved one's life! She is incredibly supportive and really understands medications and how they work but doesn't just write prescriptions. She takes a Holistic view of her patients and employs a variety of different strategies. Dr Cerulli changed my life and should teach a master class for other physicians. I'm extremely lucky that I was able to find him and be accepted into Dr. Heller's rigorous adult addiction recovery program, which includes mandatory drug testing, which is required for all his patients at every appointment. Which I think is a brilliant way to keep especially heroin addicts honest about the substances they are putting in their bodies. I tried going to two different detoxes an inpatient McClain program for two weeks and three times through an adult recovery program elsewhere and still relapsed over and over again until I found Dr Heller and made my first appointment.*** It hurts for me to read a couple of the reviews below that contain extremely outrageous inaccurate claims and completely false information. Seems like a disgruntled ex patient who couldn't meet the demands of being Sober and honest with Doctor Heller. If I were an addict reading these negative reviews below I would completely disregard them.*** Dr Heller is absolutely the best psychiatrist I've ever had out of the four I've had in my life at age 31.***He is professional and compassionate and has some genuinely great people working for him as well. One of which is Dr. Heller's secretary Darsee.
