Bad: the email on the website was not one that is currently monitored. And yes, it's still posted. When I got someone on the phone, she asked why would I even use that email. They did offer that they could have scanned my negatives (or original photos for me). Next time I need a poster size photo of a vintage photograph, I'll definitely be back.

They weren't labeled so we had no idea what was on them. She sent them home with us and I brought them over to Lakeside Camera Photoworks to be transferred to modern media as we were curious to solve the mystery. It was a lot more expensive than I thought it would be, but turned out to be worth it. The cost to convert all to DVDs and have 3 thumb drives printed - one for each sibling - was $135. The VHS tape was complete in about 4 days, and the Super 8 reel took about a month. The VHS tape must have bern an earlier conversion because it held the Jesuit vs Holy Cross football game played in 1952. There was my father in law on the field in his leather helmet! Next would be the old reel. As soon as I received the call from Lakeside that it was ready, I rushed over. As soon as I returned home we popped in one of the thumb drives, and I watched my husband's face as he was glued to the screen. Low and behold, there were his parents on their wedding day! His mom looking so fresh faced and beautiful, his dad so young and handsome! Then more - his siblings as babies and toddlers through the years, getting smooches and hugs from their mom and being carried away on their dad's shoulders. You see, my husband's mom passed away over 20 years ago and he has missed her terribly. And his dad suffered with Parkinson's for the past 13 years and hadn't been himself in ages. This surprise was so welcome. He's going to surprise his siblings with their thumb drives this week. If you have old film hanging around it might be time to have it converted. Lakeside did a great job.

When you need well done prints, this is where you go. They can scan from…read morenegatives/kodachromes/photos. They can print standard size or poster size images. They did a great job for me years ago when I wanted to get reprints of my parents 1960 wedding photos done. The finish on the originals was odd but they were able to make great versions for me. I just had them print up a couple of odd sized items one from a native digital file and the other from a kodachrome. They look great! Getting to them is a bit of challenge (and is outlined on their website). Use the box next to the elevator and use the A/Z keys to scroll to their name, then type in #2000, then push the elevator button. You have to find their name AND push the code. When you get off the elevator on the 3rd floor, turn right. There are a couple of steps down so it is not wheelchair compliant. As for parking, there are reserved signs for the clinic on the 1st floor, those are available to Moldaner's clients as well.
