First time coming here wanted to get my hair cut since I was in the area coming back from Ottawa. It's like your typical barber but this place is much newer so I wanted to support a local business. I don't have a regular barber either but they've all nailed what I consider a "normal" haircut. Simply asked for a fade, and inch off the top while keeping my hair in one direction. Easy right. I got something completely different with parts of my hair I didn't looking right or shaved right off! All in all, I wouldn't come back here for my hair personally but their prices are definitely competitive. The place is beautiful inside and parking is never an issue. read more

I went in for a beard trim. Overall trim was ok, the guy was not confident in his line up so he went over it, what felt like 100 times and my skin shows it. Once I got in the car I noticed my neck line is super crooked, which is a big reason I go to get a trim since that's tough to do on your own. The place is cool and very chill, I don't think my son 6 could survive another visit. Might want to go with a hot towel or skin cream before they fillet your cheeks. read more

We walked in today hoping someone could save the day and Alfonso did just that!! Our 8 year old son had a terrible experience at a different establishment so I stopped in Barbers Empire hoping they would take a walk in and be able fix what the other barber had done. Let me tell you... my son went from thinking he'd have to look "like a clown" (his words) for a few weeks to the happiest boy ever!! Alfonso always snaps on my hair! Definitely recommend if you want to get a fade! Don't go to great clips they will mess you up !

Very welcoming barber shop, the guys are all friendly and great to conversate with. Not only are they good with adults, but even my son couldnt beleive the difference from the cheap salons compares to this hair cut. The prices are great, the hair cuts are phenomenal, the shop is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. read more
