So i am now going on vacation looking like a caveman. Obviously, i am not blaming edo for being sick, and I don't think they had my phone number to call me beforehand, but this is service business. Instead of trying to find a solution for me (taking me extra, offerring me immediate service etc.) his sister just stood there. I am sorry, but just saying 'sorry' is not proactive enough. In service business, you should come up with fast solutions, especially if you are the one not being able to deliver the service (again people are entitled to being sick, that is not what i am complaining about). So even though i loved this place, i am afraid i won't go back there anymore.

Yesterday unfortunately I was not so lucky. Although the barber did ask me what I wanted and took a quick look at the picture I showed him, what I got was completely different, about 5cm shorter than I wanted. After growing my hair for 6 months I just wanted a long sidepart with scissors, but now I have short one with a fade. He also turned my chair away from the mirror so I couldn't see what he was doing or give feedback. I had a job interview to that day so did not really have time to argue, I just paid and left. Feeling pretty sad though. I think the barber was either new or had a bad day, which is fine mistakes happen, but he should have said so. That or he felt the shorter length fits my face better. But even so, again why didnt he just communicate that before chopping into my hair and turning me away from the mirror so I couldn't see untilit was too late? Quick and good service, 10 minutes for a quick trim for a mere €8 euros! Sometimes in life we don't need decked out hipster spotless fancy shops.
